A truly amazing training experience. So supportive and positive and always ready to guide you through the next step in your dog training journey. Small, fun classes run in a very friendly way. My dog is addicted and so am I. Only wish we had started out with My Happy Dog from the beginning. A variety of classes , 1:2:1’s, workshops , social works and more. Charlotte is highly qualified and always up to date with the latest science in the Canine world. This shows through in all her teaching and advice. Well worth the money. More...

Charlotte offers force-free, behaviourally-based training. Training is fun for dogs and owners and gives both a sense of achievement. It's pretty addictive, so you could be coming for a while... No regrets on that at all. My personal favourite is the live-training "social walk" with a group of dogs and owners, often ending at a dog friendly venue for a coffee... Charlotte offers puppy training, ongoing training for older dogs, and one-to-one assessments available for problems. A range of activities are available for the older dogs. I started with Charlotte, when my Cavapoo was an older puppy, after becoming disillusioned with other training. Charlotte came to the house to fit him with a harness. In the process she taught him a trick, whilst holding a conversation and getting the fitting done correctly. Amazed, I went to one class. Just one, because it was a bit more expensive... He learned more in one hour than he had in the last few weeks and so did I.Over a year later we are still there, doing and learning new stuff and still having fun...Highly recommended! More...

Charlotte is the Doggies' fairy Godmother
We first had Charlotte the day we brought or Darcy back home and I don't know what we would have done if we haven't. She has not only been great help come round to help us communicate with our puppy, she has always been on the end of the phone which has been of more help especially for someone like us with no puppy experience at all.
We have now started going to puppy classes and they have been great. Both us and Darcy leave feeling amazing being able to learn new things and Darcy knows that seeing Charlotte means she will be getting lots of treats so she works hard for it.

Charlotte is amazing. Not only in classes and 1 to 1 but she has given up her own time to do sessions with my pup who is training as a school dog. In the early days she was always at the end of the phone. Very talented lady who always puts the dogs first. More...

Charlotte is a wonderful trainer and clearly so passionate about her work. We enjoyed the classes immensely, sadly we have now moved 2 hours drive away so can no longer attend but would not hesitate to recommend her. Charlotte is extremely knowledgeable and cares so much about her clients, both owner and dog. She also has every piece of equipment you could ever need available at her sessions, which makes classes so much fun for all involved! More...

Charlotte has been great! She offers so many different classes for every possible dog training need. The classes are really fun and both me and Archie have learnt so much from Charlotte. She is so helpful and accommodating to everyone who comes to classes and is always willing to tailor classes to benefit you the most. Her training has got us off to a brilliant start with Archie and although he's already quite well behaved, I keep going with classes as much as possible because we both love it so much. If I could go to one of Charlotte's classes every day I would. More...

Charlotte is just brilliant. Made me and olive feel at ease from the beginning as olive is a nervous dog and I’m a very anxious person. . great combination ay! She was not judgemental to our situation at all, much to my relief! She really knew what she was talking about, gave my great training tips to start with, which I know I will enjoy working on. I really look forward to continuing working the you Charlotte, thank you for your support xx More...

There is no doubt that Charlotte is the go to trainer in the Solihull area and further afield(Birmingham ‘Warwickshire). I have learnt a lot about myself as a handler and how positive behaviours are rewarded and all force free. I am lucky enough to have had this experience and my dog ( a lump of a Labrador) has enjoyed every session. Be warned like all trades she is busy because she is epic. 10/10 More...

We tried My Happy Dog as a last resort with our puppy, who was aggressive, ignorant and basically really naughty. With a short space of time by having 121 sessions, puppy socialisation walks and attending classes, my puppy totally turned around. My Happy Dog, understands puppys and their needs and how to get the best from them using positive training methods. Well worth booking on a course. More...

Q&A

With a passion to provide the understanding to guide their own dogs in the most effective, kind and supportive way. The dogs emotions are my priority and all training is at a pace the individual dog can cope with. I love how I've been able to help with the Charity work I do, working alongside the Charity Veterans with Dogs, we provide and train assistance dogs to help Veterans with PTSD, these dogs are incredible and save lives, this has been an emotional and very inspiring journey working with these incredible dogs.

Understanding how a dog thinks and feels is an honour and the more I learn the more I want to know, it a obsession not a profession, leaving a corporate world and an Engineering background, going back to study and learn in depth about my business has been very rewarding, with each case I work on and learn from, it resonates even more so how wonderful these creatures are and how blessed we are that we get to spend are time with them.

I'm not only there to as a trainer, I'm there to coach you and support your journey, regardless of a puppy or dog, behaivour modification or just introducing a puppy in to the crazy world in which we live, training isn't just about turning up once a week, it's about a way of life, I help you understand why your dog does what they do and how we can apply some wonderful solutions to make an all round Happy Dog.
