Jen is an excellent dog walker! We've been leaving our dog in her care for 9 months, 4-5 days per week, for a couple of hours each time. She clearly loves her dogs/our dogs, and she seems to make sure they don't pick up any bad habits. She's very flexible with us, which we really appreciate. Jen is as good as it gets! The first time I met her, one of the newer pups recently added to my regular group ran up to her to give her cuddles and kisses and it turns out it is because she walked her a couple of times in the past! The pup remembered Jen so fondly after only meeting her a couple of times and it was truly moving, as well as a testament to the kind of care, consideration and quality Jen provides to each pup in her care. I see her at the dog park regularly and she is always attentive, playful and interactive with her dogs. In my experience, she is professional, reliable and skilled. I have already reached out to her for coverage assistance and for referrals for clients seeking coverage I cannot accommodate. Jen is awesome. She's flexible and has a small awesome crew of dogs.She was responsive and attentive to my dog when he started developing barrier frustration and handled it by letting him sit up front buckled properly. Although Jen is new to dog walking as a profession, I have seen how much she loves dogs and other animals for many years and how well she treats them all - as if they were her own (and of course her own dog receives amazing care, attention, and love! ). Jen excels at getting to know the dogs she is caring for and making sure they don't just get a (super safe) walk but have a great time - she goes the extra mile to meet all of each animal's needs. Jen has been walking my Wilson for months now. I watch my dog remotely on camera from work and watch how unbelievably EXCITED he is to see her. I absolutely trust Wilson with her, she has a wonderful way with dogs, and I feel confident that Wilson is in good hands while he's with her. He always comes home relaxed. Jennifer is the best of the best. She has taken care of both of my beloved pets - my dog and my chronically ill kitty - and I would trust them with her over and over again. With my dog, Jennifer genuinely loves animals, and she enjoys the long walks, playtime, cuddles, treats, etc. She is responsible and reliable, and she can adhere to special instructions (my dog has dietary restrictions and can be reactive to particular breeds). Spending the day with dogs, watching them play and socialize.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Working long hours, wanting only to get home to my dog was painful. One day I saw a dog walker out and about loving the day...I thought I want to be that person.
Why should our clients choose you?
I focus on smaller group sizes. Fun is key but safety is my goal.
