Great shows for all ages, stimulating Café Scientifique talks, good bar food, interesting art gallery displays, terrific ambience, altogether a place to hang out. A huge asset to Didcot.
Enjoyed Mark Lewisohn's 'The Beatles: Hornsey Road' last night, was lucky to get a couple of the last tickets at this sold out performance. Only downside was that, perhaps partly because it was so full, I was too warm despite being in a short sleeved shirt More...
We visited last night for Crimes on the Coast. Great fun. The productions are always good. I’m booked in next week to see Turning the Screw and Jane Eyre in November.
Lovely cosy environment bringing arts together.
Second I walked in the place I was shocked nice workers it was so quiet and better pubs I went in before. The food was amazing the best part was the workers.I would give the chef 10/10 thank you so much for the experience More...
Absolutely brilliant performance by the whole cast for The Pied Piper. a great, fun panto for all. we will definitely be returning next year now. well done all.

Thoroughly enjoyed the Pied Piper show, wonderful music and performances
I was at the Cornerstone Arts Centre on 26/10/18 as part of the Rocket Man production. I am the percussionist on the show. We visit a large number of venues up and down the country. This centre and staff were exceptional. Duty Manager Emma was a pleasure to work with, tech Dom was very friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Very friendly ushers too. We had a great time in this compact and great sounding theatre. Oh.. great toasties from the cafe with amazing coffee! Hope to see everyone again soon . More...
A phenomenal selection of eclectic music on vinyl & CDs. We spent a good few hours over a couple of days with the delightful Richard and selected our "wonderful Wallingford collection" of 45s for the jukebox! See you next time we're in UK for another cup of coffee and, perhaps another collection!!!! L X More...
Popped in for the first time on Saturday and found myself feeling like a kid in a sweet shop. Cracking wee shop with a great selection of vinyl. The owner's service was superb and I loved the conversation we had about Simple Minds. It's a gem of a store and I will be back time and again. More...

Popped in for the first time yesterday and I wish I'd had an hour or two to browse rather than 10 minutes! The owner was very friendly and full of help and advice and very generously let me walk out of there much more satisfied than I might otherwise have been! So if you have ANY interest in the vinyl revival, check it out but take a bulging wallet and make sure you have plenty of time to spare! More...
Best place to top up our vinyl collection. Absolute pleasure to have a shop like this on our door step!
Well done on your first Retro Night last night at cornerstone.
Great music and atmosphere (even if it did cost me more money as hubby just had to buy a album )
Look foreword to more hopefully
Awesome friendly staff creating a wonderful record shop
Great to re-visit the Music Box in Wallingford ... top fella Richard for setting it up again
Great selection of Vinyl & CDs. Ace, friendly staff too. This is how record shops should be
Great place. Owner is obviously a real enthusiast. First visit yesterday but will certainly not be my last. Very groovy.
Great place and flash backs from some of the records I used to listen to.... Nice coffee and good conversation...

Really a fantastic music shop! So happy to have the music box back in Wallingford! Really helpful and kind owners :)

Only 3 weeks until Record Store Day eeek! More...
If you love music but feel like you've 'lost touch' with it since the rise of the cloud services (iTunes, Spotify etc.) then you would do well to reconnect by getting back into physical media. Music Box is my local record store and I absolutely love popping in for a chat with the folks there and frequently walk out with something special I've never heard of and would never have found through Tidal! They're very family friendly too. Only problem is records are very difficult to hide in amongst other normal shopping bags More...
If you live in Berkshire/Oxfordshire - then this is the place to get your Vinyl. Great mix of new and original and the staff really know their stuff; there aren't many places you can talk to someone about genres from Ska to early Soul and R&B! More...
Great to see a cool indie back in my home town. Finally i have a reason to go to town again!
Went to see Oliver this afternoon and it was amazing!! Great venue in a good location. The show was brilliant and the cast were fantastic!! 10/10
For those aspiring writers who missed the poetry workshop today, you missed a fun day. Most attendees were new to poetry, but by the end of the day all were writing fluently. It was truly a worthwhile workshop. Thank you Mark. More...
We took our 9 month old for his first theatre trip - to see The Nutcracker and the Mouse King. He loved all the music, singing and lights and was enthralled for the entire second half. I'm a regular in the cafe but will definitely be back to watch more plays! Big thanks to Chloe for reassuring me a babe in arms would be welcome and advising where to book our seats - we were J 1&2 so could easily bounce him in the aisle without blocking anyone's view, sit in the empty disabled area to breastfeed him, or sneak outside if he got loud. We'll be booking our earlybird tickets for next year! More...
Fabulous evening, wonderful performance, amazing talent, would highly recommend this show to anyone xx
Child friendly, great performances, lovely staff
Visited Cornerstone for the beer and cider festival this weekend. Despite the rain it was a great evening, with plenty of beers and ciders to choose from at a very reasonable price. The BBQ beef burgers we had were fantastic and we saw Adam Barnes do a set- and he was amazing. Top marks Cornerstone. More...
Excellent Beer and Music festival once again. The BBQ was good quality and great value for money. The variety of Beers available was brilliant
This is a fabulous venue for the Dance Connection show. Each year the staff at the theatre are fantastic and supportive. The dressing rooms are great for all the pupils. The theatre itself is an amazing platform to showcase DC's talent (from the teachers and pupils!). Always a pleasure to be at the Cornerstone More...
The Cornerstone is a great local venue. We have been to several shows since it opened, mostly family/children events. Most recently was the Three Half Pints presenting The Three Musketeers. My son (9) and I were grinning, giggling or guffawing right through! No spoilers, but I'm still having flashbacks to the black lycra! I've no idea why this wasn't a sell out show (2pm); perhaps as it was Father's Day? It was fantastic; great comic acting and excellent use of the stage & set design. It was fabulous that they took the time to meet the kids after the show too. We shall definitely be back to see them again. More...
Great venue, great location, great entertainment! Great evening :)
Been going in this shop for many years n still think it's fantastic
The Cornerstone is a good venue offering a wide variety of different shows and events. The staff are always helpful and friendly. My only slight negative point is that the seating in the auditorium could be more comfortable. More...
Cornerstone is a great venue and a real asset to Didcot. The reason for only 4 stars is the lack of food on the evening of an event (we arrived early and had to make do with nachos from the cinema opposite) despite posters saying "Food and Drink until 9pm" and the sad demise of the Comedy Curry. I thought bringing the catering in house was supposed to enhance the offering. More...
I only got as far as the coffee shop but I will be back. DELICIOUS coffee, a warm welcome, comfy seating and some toys for little ones. Perfect!
Excellent venue AND a great concert, just a pity is was not as well supported as it deserved. You apathetic people out there - get your finger out and go and enjoy some really great and varied concerts. I took someone who had lived in the area years but had never been to Cornerstones Theatre. Result - I was thanked for a wonderful evening. More...
I had a latte there and also did a show later in the theatre. Green room was spacious.
Brilliant production of Emily Brown and the Thing, wonderful acting and scenery, just right for small children and their grandparents.
Fantastic talented performance of Emily & The Thing! Loved it! Definitely recommend for all xx
Can't tell you how much my son and I enjoyed 'Operation Crucible' last night. We both agreed that it was one of the best things we have ever seen on stage. It was our first visit to Cornerstone; we had come from Princes Risborough so a bit of a trek but well worth it. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming as well as a brilliant show. Thank you! More...
Stopped by while on vacation - great selection, great prices, very knowledgeable...

Cornerstone is Fabulous! An excellent venue with quite literally, class acts! Who would expect that all the current Comedians and stand up acts would perform in dear old Didcot and for such a reasonable cost? The staff are always friendly and welcoming, it is indeed a pleasure to have this wonderful facility with all it offers here in Didcot. However, if I have to make any critique about the venue, it would be the inexperience of the bar staff, excruciatingly slow at producing for example, 2 gins and 1 tonic – some optics would help I feel to access and dispense instead of painfully measuring alongside others at the interval rush in particular. Several of the pre- booked interval drinks were incorrect I noticed as I waited for seemed to be an age for my small, simple order! There were 4 people serving which is plenty for such a small venue - I believe this whole experience would benefit from some streamlining to make the whole experience less stressful for staff and customer alike. Keep up the good work! More...
What a Great Little Venue .. Have just got Back from Seeing the Brilliant Bella Hardy ..Very impressed ..I will be looking to see Future Events ..Thank you for a Great Night
Excellent price quality, never seen/heard anything we were disappointed about. Will visit more again in 2016!
Please keep on punching above your weight with a great and inventive selection of bookings - Godot, Propeller and werewolves in the last few weeks alone
David Andrew Broadley
Great venue town wide scale- centre of the new town centre coming.
It was a real pleasure to learn street hip hop and street Jazz at the Cornerstone... I hope those lessons keep on going.
Excellent events, excellent membership discount, excellent staff. Didcot's finest feature.

We have just seen The Night Before Christmas. Staff were very helpful and friendly, the building is very new, clean and cosy, not a bad seat in the auditorium, the gradients means you can see wherever you sit and finally the show was fab. We had a 3 children under 4 and they all were happy and very involved with the show. The youngest didn't stop smiling all the way through. Would recommend! More...
