What do you love most about your job?
I love meeting new people, learning about their vision and making it come to life. Seeing the happiness on their faces, gives me the satisfaction of a job well done.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Growing up, I knew I wanted to be an entrepreneur, but was unsure of what type of business I wanted. As a college student, I obtained a job at a hotel and was introduced to the event world. I thought it was the best thing ever! I developed a passion for decorating and hosting various type of events for myself, family and friends, in which my experiences have allowed me to acquire many skills. Prior to my mother passing away in 2013, she reminded me of my dream of becoming an entrepreneur. The best way I could honor her was to fulfill that dream and make her proud. Hence, MunaSia Events was established in 2016. The name "Muna Sia" is a (middle name) name given to me by my mother.
