I ordered flowers for a bridal luncheon from Mountain Laurel Floral after looking at their work on-line. The owner really listened and tried to get a sense of the occasion? the wedding colors, and the shape I wanted when I called to order. She nailed it! The arrangement was beautiful and perfect for the occasion. I got so many compliments. The flowers were fresh and the exact wedding colors I had described. It was certainly a cut about the usual floral arrangement with interesting filler plants and flowers along with roses and the other larger flowers. I found Mountain Laurel Floral through Yelp as I needed a shop that would deliver on Sunday for a friend's bday. I don't live in Austin, but trusted the reviews. Although I wasn't sure exactly what my friend would receive when I ordered online (all you do is select the size/amount you want to pay and receive an invoice) she texted me thrilled when she got them! I recently worked with Laura as the florist on a wedding I was coordinating, and I can't say enough good things! First of all, the flowers were GORGEOUS. She intuitively knew what flowers and arrangement styles would perfectly complement the setting - the bride's family's farm - highlighting the pre-existing charm and character and bringing fresh beauty and vibrancy to the different spaces. I had the privilege of being behind the scenes to hear the family commenting how she was able to take the vision they shared and deliver something that was far beyond their expectations.From a professional standpoint, Laura was incredibly helpful and a delight to work with. She went above and beyond, efficiently getting everything in place in a timely, organized way. Knowing it was going to be a big project for me to transport everything from the ceremony site to the reception venue on my own, she graciously offered her time to help re-set everything at the reception site and make sure everything was perfect - and it was! Ordered a floral arrangement late on Monday afternoon for Tuesday morning delivery for a birthday girl in Austin. Talked to Laura who had immediate ideas for the arrangement. Placed the order online after the quick discussion - simple, straightforward process on the website filled with pictures of Laura's  beautiful, creative arrangements. Quickly received order confirmation by email. Tuesday morning the most gorgeous arrangement of peonies, hydrangeas, and poppies in a clear container was delivered to the birthday girl. She said it was the prettiest arrangement she's ever received! I received emails with the invoice and photos of the arrangement (yay!) very soon after delivery.  Distinctive flowers custom designed and creatively arranged by a friendly, talented business owner who seems to care!  What more could you ask for?I'll choose Mountain Laurel Floral whenever I need flowers in Austin! Laura has done numerous arrangements for the shop I managed and never failed to impress us! We would collaborate with her for special events - she always made sure to check in with what the aesthetic/feel was we were going for overall, and then managed to capture that in her floral arrangements. Laura's work can only be described as a true work of art. She takes care and precision in all she does, from bouquets to boutonnieres, she creates something astounding. For my wedding, Laura put together my bouquet, boutonnieres, corsages, bouquets in hanging buckets, glass bottles filled with flowers, and even a bouquet for me to toss! Each arrangement was more beautiful than the next. I got so many compliments on the flowers at my wedding and in the days afterwards.
