If you travel between your home address and a military base you are entitled to claim back the tax that was spent on fuel whilst traveling to your temporary work place. To fit the criteria for this claim you must of been assigned to your unit for 2 years or less.

What kind of accounting services do you provide?
If you travel between your home address and a military base you are entitled to claim back the tax that was spent on fuel whilst traveling to your temporary work place. To fit the criteria for this claim you must of been assigned to your unit for 2 years or less. Anything over 2 years isn't classed as a temporary work place and we are unable to claim. If you have never received a mileage claim throughout your military career you can claim for the past 4 years in one go!
