Its been a troubling few months but Mortons made my pain go away with a win at trial at Stockport. I was told to plead by another solicitor, but they really did 'leave no stone unturned'.

Mortons Solicitors and Simon Morton are the Best solicitors you will find in Stockport. Simon represented me recently at Stockport Magistrates, I was afraid I would go to prison until I saw how good Simon was. He is a true professional who wants what is best for his clients. I had to write I little something to thank the people at Mortons Solicitors for providing a truly excellent service.I was summonsed for a criminal driving matter to go to the Magistrates Court. I was told upfront that it was not imprisonable and therefore I would not be eligible for legal aid.  I'm a newly trained teacher and couldn't afford the sums that the big firms charge.  A friend told me to try Mortons Solicitors who are near to where I live.They were half the price I had been quoted elsewhere and were prepared to agree to pay in installments ahead of the trial.  A driving licence is essential for my work as I live 10 miles from where I work in a school in a rural area where there is no public transport.Mortons made the whole court thing as painless as possible.  I got 6 penalty points in the end to add to my previous 5.  I'm lucky that the court imposed the minimum otherwise I would have lost my licence.Mortons argued that it would be unfair for me to lose my licence over this.Onward and upwards I go. Mortons Solicitors and Simon Mortons represented me at Manchester City Magistrates Court when I had been charged with an allegation of assault and criminal damage.

I was thankful that they offered legal aid for free representation because I have no means to pay myself as I am unto my eyeballs in debt.

Simon was a very smart, professional solicitor. I was fearful of being convicted of this offence and was tempted to plead guilty just to get the matter over and done with, even though I am innocent, But once Simon talked to me I agreed to plead not guilty and goto trial where he was confident of winning my case.

Thankfully the case never even got as far as trial. The Crown Prosecution Service discontinued the case 2 weeks before. Thanks to Simon.
