Mintern transformed our overgrown mess of a garden into a true master piece. Starting with replacing our dilapidated fence they erected a solid fence with concrete posts and concrete fence slabs and a new gate and cleared the garden of all overgrowth. Seeing how good of a job they did we decided to get mintern to landscape our garden and add sleepers, decking and beautiful Indian sandstone slabs. I had a rough idea of how I wanted it to be but the opinions, advice and ideas the team suggested to me made a lot more sense and I put my trust in their knowledge and experience which I don’t regret for a second. The team in general were overall outstanding. Very polite, friendly, tidy and extremely hardworking. The level of effort they put into the work was second to none. ‘Jason who is the slab paver of the team walked me through every step of the way to make sure I was happy as the job progressed which was reassuring at all times. ‘Chris did an excellent job with the decking and working along side Jason made them a really dynamic team. The company owner ‘Andy’ did a lot of physical work on the job as well which is a rare thing to see as alot of managers don’t do the manual work. All the other members of the team did an amazing job and really worked well together. Very professional, reliable and trust worthy craftsman who take pride in the work they do. Poor quality of workmanship and very poor materials led to fence being replaced after a few months as warped. Replacement after 1 winter now cracking and splitting. Cheap materials used and told they will not replace but I can contact the company where they got the wood from to discuss. Passing the buck instead of dealing with the problem. Personally I would not recommend to anyone who wants longevity from a fence. More...
