My granddaughter had a birthday cak made for her 1st birthday by Mimi on recommendation.
Not only did it look great, the sponge was light, airy and tasted fantastic, the icing was edible (I sometimes put this in the bin with shop cakes) and the layer between the icing and cake tasted like white chocolate, yum yum

I had a giraffe number 1 cake made for my daughters first birthday and it outdid my expectations it was on a bed of leaves and flowers made out of icing and had her name on the board. The giraffe itself had a bow by its ear and everyone commented on how nice it was I was just expecting an iced cake but it was covered and the spots were made of chocolate.
