Fantastic venue to learn and enjoy riding. The owners Heather and Steve run a superb school which is clean, welcoming and unlike some, has an area to sit down and watch from (under cover). Would highly recommend.

If you love ponies, horses, riding and want to learn to ride then this is a great place to start. Facilities are fantastic and Heather and Steve always make you feel welcome and part of the Middleton Family. Friendly yet highly professional at all times. Our youngest girl Eloise (aged 10) loves the place and would no doubt sleep in one of the stables if she could! After trying other riding schools and getting nowhere, Heather & Steve have brought out the confidence in Eloise and she’s now a regular face there and enjoying every minute. Absolutely lovely stunning and clean yard and lovely people! It was my first time coming here today for my first lesson in a long time after an accident I had a while ago. My first time back in the saddle and I felt so at ease, little nervous but soon got over that with the reassurance I was actually safe and Tilly the lovely mare, they couldn't of paired me with a better horse! Had an absolutely wonderful time at Middleton for my Daughter’s 6th birthday party. The children spent time grooming the pony’s before taking part in riding challenges and games in teams. All the staff were lovely and really good at directing and supporting the kids, especially as the majority of them had never been on a horse before.

All the children are still talking about the party and had a great time. The rosettes were a lovely touch and many of them have taken them into school to talk about their experience.

I agree with Rachel that a bench and gazebo for them to be able to eat/drink on would just add to the experience, but even so I don’t think we could have asked for a better party.

Amazing tuition on a beautiful yard, Heather and Steve run a very professional, friendly yard. The horses are settled and looked after fantastically and the facility's are brilliant. Heather teaches my daughter and I, she is patient but firm and definitely knows her stuff! There are also regular clinics held onsite.

I have had 2 lessons now after having little success so far.. Now my boy n I have had the best three hours at cannock chase. Heather corrected me and gave me confidence to get my legs n contact right, its like riding a new pony! Everything she taught me yesterday worked perfectly, straight forward, simple instruction, stops u as soon as it is wrong so u get it right quickly. Always confirms lessons, reliable, not late and so easy to talk to and going extra mile by offering support on phone n text if i need it. Heather is a complete super star, I was beginning to get deflated with my stroppy horse! I've had about 5 lessons with Heather and the only thing I can say is. ....she's a complete super star, she has completely changed my horse in a very short time, hes a pleasure to ride and he's going so well. Heather is fab! She has soon sorted me and my stroppy mare out, been having lesson from Heather for a while now and I love them. She gives clear instructions, and is happy to talk you through things if unsure! She is very reliable, always early for lessons and goes above and beyond by offering advice and support on the phone what ever time it is as well as always texting the day before the lesson to confirm it! I've had my mare at Middleton for a month now. She's settled incredibly well and has put on loads of weight and condition since being there.

Attended a party here today. It was fab a lovely setting. Staff were friendly and the horses were beautiful.
Only thing lacking was a place to eat and drink that would make it the ideal party package.

Thanks for tonight's lesson, Leah loved riding Atlas, she was a little nervous at first with not riding for the last 8 months but she's really enjoyed herself and carnt wait to get back into it, you and your partner should be very proud with yourselves as your livery is beautiful and very welcoming, your daughter showed me around and i can see you both av put great effort toward this xx i wish you all the luck and i no you will be seeing us for while �� i might even av a lesson myself in the summer � see you in the new year xxx

I Have started to bring my daughter Holly here to resume riding lessons after a lack of progress elsewhere. Heather has taken her right back to basics and improved everything about her riding. . and most importantly, Holly laughs and giggles throughout which is lovely to see.
