Mick shot our daughter’s wedding. She was nothing short of AMAZING! She was there from sun up to sun down. I have no idea how she did all of the shots she did because it seemed as if she was always visible to me but then there were wedding party pictures that I was not aware of. Mick’s passion, & love for love, comes through in her work. She loves love in all forms & is so easy to share your special memories with. We love Mick! She has done our family photos twice and both times the pics have been beautiful. She somehow makes everyone so at ease that she captures the spirit of our fam perfectly. We have done mini sessions with her and I love that we get an awesome selection of pics and my kids and husband are happy because it's quick and easy. Mick has been capturing memories for our family for the last 3 1/2 years, and I can’t recommend her enough! Our very first session was a maternity and newborn combo, and now we look forward to seasonal family photos several times a year. Her photo is the centerpiece of our annual Christmas card ☺️ My husband also gifted me with a Mother’s Day session last year...a special shoot with just me and my two sweet boys. I think those pictures are some of my most favorites ever, and ones I will cherish into my old age. Mick is easy-going and relaxed, kind, and so fun to work with. Do you know how difficult it is to get your family together for family photo? It's a miracle when all of your kids will be in town on the same weekend. ..that is when you call the photographer! It's been almost 2 years since Kriasty and I got married. I feel so bad that we have yet to leave a review. We hired Mick as our wedding photographer and she brought her husband along and did an amazing job! She was professional, fun, engaging, and seemed to be everywhere without you even knowing. Mick's been a very close friend of mine since junior high. I've seen her photography talents grow over the last years, so when we got engaged, she was the first person I considered to capture our special day. She has a way of capturing parts of people's personalities that may otherwise go unnoticed. It's this authenticity that I really hoped for when it came to remembering our wedding. Since we've been close for so long, I was curious to see how it would go on the day of, with Mick balancing interacting with my family/friends and managing a tight photography schedule. She was the consummate professional. I have no idea how she did it! She managed to get every shot we outlined, all while staying calm, collected, and beyond friendly with everyone who crossed her path. It was so reassuring having her by my side. Perhaps some of that is because of our friendship, but I have no doubt that the combination of her easygoing spirit and attention to detail would leave any bride feeling reassured on her wedding day. One of my favorite things about Mick's photography is that she zeroed in on my VIP guests (family, wedding party) and ensured everyone was captured in moments, not just in formal portraits. What a gift to give our guests. It also rained (poured), and Mick handled it with ease - she had no hesitations letting me know when it was time to fix my hair or stop the fake smiles. Plus, we were in a tiny, HOT, jam-packed chapel and she still managed to get all of the angles of our faces during the ceremony. Finally, we had some issues with our wedding schedule, and it was Mick who stepped up to help (not our wedding planners). I feel so lucky that to have had her by my side on my wedding day. It was a gift beyond the photos that we received. Mick is my favorite photographer I've ever worked with! We had her do our family portraits this year and also she did newborn shots in the hospital after I had my second son. Mick is extremely helpful and encouraging, she made me feel so comfortable and beautiful-even though I had just given birth 8 hours before! She helped us with poses so we never had to stop and think of some or stand their awkwardly or nervously. She kept the shoot flowing and got so many of my family in our natural states. She edited the photos quickly and beautifully! Everyone thinks our photos are from a magazine photo shoot! I highly recommend Mick to everyone I know and I can't wait to do another shoot with her! We could never thank Mick enough, for all of her hard work, patience, dedication, flexibility, and love for our special day. Mick not only did our wedding photos but she did our engagement photos as well. It's been more than a year since we shot the engagement photos and we still love them just as much. Still get complimented on how beautiful our engagement photos are. My husband and I loved the look and idea of engagement photos in a wide open field of high grass, Mick was totally open to it. She let us take as many photos as we liked, went to a few different spots, and didn't make us feel rushed or uncomfortable at all. My husband and I both feel like we aren't photogenic, but that night was different, Mick made us feel completely comfortable, confident, and okay to laugh and love in front of a camera. Mick met us a few days before our wedding, (traveled a long ways to do so) to check out our venue, meet with the coordinator, and the owner of the place, Kellermans Event Center in White Bear Lake, MN. She wanted to see the beauty that we saw inside and outside of the place, and make sure she understood everything we wanted, she communicated with the venue staff to work with them as well. The day of the wedding, our bridal party was off to a late start, Mick was completely flexible with her time, didn't complain about our tardiness one bit. She just kept shooting and did it with such peace. She stayed our whole day, from the time we were in pajamas in the morning until the time it was ready for us to get back in our jams. She captured so many moments we may not have seen or even known about had it not been for her and her talent behind the camera. Looking back at our wedding day photos is like a dream every time. They are seriously so beautiful. We look at our pictures and feel like we are back in that moment once again, and it doesn't get much better than that! Mick is a wonderful photographer who is up-and-coming, so if you're considering using her services at all, go ahead and book her! I promise you, she won't be available for long. My husband and I are both photographers and we were both very apprehensive about this part of the wedding planning process because we knew it was going to be hard to give up this creative process to someone else. However, Mick is so incredible at what she does and we had so much confidence in her that neither one of us took a single photo on our wedding day! We got to relax and just let her take the reins. What I love most about Mick's style is that it's modern, romantic, and soft, (a look that is very much "in" for wedding photography) while still being fresh, classic, and not over-stylized, so you know you'll still enjoy your photos for years to come. Mick Schulte did a fantastic job on an engagement session for me. Her prices are fantastic and her work is stunning. She was very quick to respond to emails and went out of her way to help me think of locations for our pictures. On the day of our shoot, she was at least 8 months pregnant and we were in 95+ degree heat. She was a complete trooper and stayed with us for almost two hours in two outdoor locations. I don't think I could have found any other photographer who could match her in time, value and product. Mick was wonderful to work with from start to finish! She was super understanding, friendly, and completely rolled with the punches. I hate to say that I am not the most organized person in day to day life, as you can imagine planning a wedding magnified my organizational lack of skills, she never seemed frazzled or upset when I missed a meeting, or took forever to email her back, she was completely professional and calm throughout the wedding, and she definitely helped the day of the keep me somewhat calm, and keep the pace of the wedding going. Mick did an engagement session with us (& our dog Betty), as well as our wedding and both sets of pictures turned out amazing and will be cherished forever!!
