Michelle was able to shoot our engagement and wedding photos. She was fantastic from start to finish. The wedding looked even better in the pictures! The set up shots and candid moments were equally lovely. She was very easy to be around and it was a pleasure to have her be a part of our wedding. Could not have asked for more. More...

We are very fortunate to have recently come into contact with Michelle Williams Photography. Michelle is an incredibly talented photographer; she has worked upon multiple projects, branding work and weddings with us at Rodbaston Hall and all I can say is ‘wow’. Her eye for detail, a rare talent for capturing those perfect moments and general professionalism are above and beyond. Michelle always greets us with a smile on her face, invaluable advice with regards to styling and photographs, and captures something more spectacular than we can imagine ourselves. I would highly recommend Michelle for any of your wedding/ photography needs and look forward to continuing to work with her in the future. LauraWedding Coordinator at Rodbaston Hall More...

Michelle did our wedding and she was amazing great communication plus offering her expert advice. She made us feel so at ease throughout, nothing was to much trouble and she was soo approachable on the day but also blended in (to capture the natural shots) which we love. That was definitely a plus point for us as we wanted to enjoy our day. Would highly recommend Michelle More...

Michelle twice attended meetings of the Rugeley Phoenix Photographic Group and on each occasion delivered really fascinating presentations about photographic technique based on her own work. The group all found her guidance and suggestions extremely helpful and informative. She also accompanied the group to the National Arboretum, having previously given it some hints about which areas provide good subject material etc. The group are all admiring of her portfolio and respectful of her talents. We have used Michelle Williams Photography for a number of jobs. She has a friendly, professional manner and is able to get the best from her subjects - be it posed photo calls or live action shots. We've also booked Michelle for landsape/scenery and the susequent images are gorgeous and really show off Lichfield's landmarks. Many have ended up on our meeting room walls as art. Highly recommended! More...

I've known Michelle for a number of years and have worked with her on various tourism related projects. She's very professional, efficient and friendly, taking time and care to make sure she understands exactly what her clients need.
Her work on landmarks and historical sites, such as Lichfield Cathedral is very impressive, as is her human interest and personal photos, she has a much prized skill of getting her subjects to relax and is therefore able to get lovely, informal images of family and friends for those special events.
Would definitely recommend!

Michelle is a fantastic photographer with a real talent in capturing special moments that can easily get forgotten about as time goes by. She was the photographer at our wedding and we have spent many nights looking over our pictures, laughing and reminiscing, she captured the true characters of our guests, and managed to capture those special moments between the bride and groom that remind you both of why you’re getting married in the first place. A true professional with an amazing style of photography, that really captures your day in its entirety. More...

What do you love most about your job?
Creating timeless imagery, and capturing the day in its entirety from the details, portraits, group shots and all the candid moments too. I'm very much a people person and I would say I get my energy from being in the company of others, so meeting new people and getting to know your story is also a joy, I honestly feel very privileged to be able to do my job.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have always enjoyed exploring my creative side from a young age, I completed a Diploma in Art & Design and an A level in ceramics, It was a number of years later when I picked up a camera seriously for the first time, and have not looked back since, There is something special about 'freezing a moment in time' or creating a beautiful portrait or still life, that can be treasured and evoke memories many years on.
Why should our clients choose you?
I pride myself in providing an excellent level of communication throughout the whole process, I also feel I am a very flexible photographer as opposed to a 'one trick pony' which I think is important in wedding photography if you are going to be able to capture the whole day as a visual story-board. I use the latest technology (fuji mirrorless cameras) the latest editing and album building software, along with the very best of suppliers for my products, printing and albums. I also carry back-up equipment with me.
My style of editing is timeless, preferring to steer away from the latest trends, I keep skin tones natural, and do not distort the original colours but rather enhance the image. To me if it looks over processed it probably is and will not stand the test of time, and will probably not print as well either. Classic styles never go out of trend, and therefore your images will look as great in 10 years time as they do now.
