We worked with Richard when we opened our deli/bistro. We all really loved working with Richard, the team felt really relaxed and had so much fun when he was doing the head shots we'd asked for . Richard worked amazingly with our Chef to produce some stunning images of our dishes, all of which are now getting some serious likes across our social media pages. The shots of our dinning area work beautifully on our new web site. Richard's experience and creativity has given us a gallery of images that we are incredibly proud of. Q&As

There is no secret, it just years of learning all of the required skills and then applying them to the creation of a photograph.

Shooting for such a wide variety of different client has allowed me to work on advertising shoots, commercial shoots for design agencies, portraits for magazines and headshots for local companies. Every shoot is different and needs to be treated that way. The best way to fully understand the requirements is to have a telephone or Facetime consultation to discuss:

I love the variety of skills that you need to overcome the challenges on shoots. It's not just being able to use a camera well that makes a good photographer, but your communication with the client and the ability to understand the brief so you get it right first time. It's a long learning curve, but one I've really enjoyed over the past 20 years. , building up a reputation that I'm proud of.

Here’s why. I'm creative, but my strengths are also in planning and making things happen, I have shot portraits of celebrities for magazines, calendars for reality TV shows and advertising for fashion designers. I have arranged shoots in Hong Kong, New York and many cities across Europe, dealing with all of the logistics to ensure that everything runs smooth. These are the experiences he brings to your project, to ensure that I deliver what you need.

In short, I love what I do and I am driven to get 'the shot' and this comes across not only in his photography but in his approach.
