Max Marcus Events

We used Max Marcus as our wedding DJ/Events coordinator. They handled all from the pre-wedding barbecue, to the music at the civil service, the sound at the Indian service and finally the music at the main evening reception. All were done expertly and both Max and Marcus were professional throughout. I booked a silent disco for an event I organised at a London venue. The rate was extremely competitive compared to other companies offering the same service. Max Marcus events DJ'd at our wedding on 3rd November and what a brilliant party it was! We wanted a mixture of music that we love (rnb, house, Motown) along with some Irish and Indian classics to keep both sides of the family happy as it was a mixed wedding. . Max Marcus events really know how to blend different styles of music to keep everyone dancing all night! Marcus is an absolutely fantastic DJ. He's worked with us three times over the past few years, DJ'ing for each of our three children's Bar/Bat Mitzvahs. Each event was amazing and at the most recent party for well over 100 people, Marcus had everyone there- young, old and in-between- up on the dance floor. I've never seen anything like it! Marcus is a true professional, and knows how to make a party flow. In addition to the music, which was just right, he brought fabulous up-lights which made the venue look really special, and arranged a photo booth which was also a big hit. We can't recommend Marcus highly enough- he feels like part of the family now, having seen us through these three major milestones. I cannot recommend Max highly enough. Planning a wedding is one of the most stressful things I’ve ever done, but Max made sure that this was one area I never had to worry about. So professional and friendly from start to finish, and we could be as involved as we liked in the process. He fully understood our need for mixed music (east and west). Everything was seamless on the day, he even came to the rescue when the groom’s button fell off and re attached it (hidden talent!). We used Max Marcus events to DJ at a family function back in 2016. They were absolutely great - actually *listened* attentively to what WE wanted (instead of what they might have thought we wanted. ..) and then delivered brilliantly on the night. So many DJs don't do that. If you're looking to hold a party where everyone dances all night, Max Marcus are your people! They also supply furniture, lighting etc so all your needs are met! MaxMarcus events worked with us for our wedding in Alençon at the Chateau Saint Paterne and were absolutely stellar. From the moment we had the opportunity to meet them months before the wedding we were sure we were working with people who were professional and more importantly passionate and genuine. As we were planning a destination wedding (and could not meet everyone in person before the event) Max spoke with us via Skype to get a sense of who we were and what we were after. He introduced us to a fantastic service available on their website that allowed us to choose the music we loved (and the music we did not) and create our special requests which made for several fun nights of preparation. Even when we were out and heard a song we liked, we rushed home to add it to the queue.All of this led up to a spectacular event, Max and Marcus rolled in with full equipment and they setup 2 venues (one inside and one outside) that were very well lit and sounded great. They were prepared with wireless mics when impromptu speeches were made and controlled the gathering very well. All of this on top of perfectly matching the mood with the music and mixing several different styles together without a hitch.By the end of this experience we came home having had a great time, with amazing memories and 2 new very good friends.Highly recommended. I booked Max to DJ for my Brother’s 40th birthday party, and he was absolutely amazing. Max was so friendly, professional and nothing was too much trouble for him. I worked closely with him to build a very specific house, disco, old skool playlist for our guests, as I knew that’s the music everyone would like. He was so helpful with the music, lighting, shout outs on the mic we planned, and very friendly towards all of our guests. We recently worked with Max and Team for our wedding (December 2017) and all we can say is that the experience and delivery was faultless.
Reasons to use Max Marcus:
1) they are highly experienced and understand Your needs and more importantly what is needed for your event.
2) they will Work within your budget to give you the best personalised experience you are looking for.
3) Max will meet you and will run through the whole day with you and help guide you through the planning and music choices - very useful as he will get to know you and what you like.
4) you’ll get access to a playlist builder where you can build and suggests tracks to play during the wedding. Max provided extra iPods loaded with playlists he had put together for us, based on our requests for different moments during the reception eg, bus ride, drinks, dinner.

Max did a fantastic job with our events (an evening party, daytime background music, and an all out party reception). He was very well organised - a sea of calm - through months of planning, and always made himself available to meet with us beforehand to get things lined up precisely right. We asked him to act as a master of ceremonies for our reception and he did so with confidence and elegance. MaxMarcus, you were INCREDIBLE yesterday!!! I don't think I've ever seen so many people on a wedding dance floor in my life or heard the lion king mashed into a song so well. You just got the guests, and the music hit the spot completely for each part of the day. We had so many compliments about your DJ skills which were way beyond any 'wedding dj' people had experienced before and more what you would expect at a high end nightclub or Ibiza (while also keeping the older guests happy with your classics). Where do we start! Max is a true gentleman and just a lovely guy. From the start, he listened to what Dan and I wanted at our wedding - he also made helpful suggestions. Max was available by phone or email whenever we needed him & it was like chatting to a friend (which he now is, of course). The playlist builder is awesome - guests loved it. Our guests were on the dance floor from start to finish (and it was a late one!). We've been receiving so many compliments about Max and rightly so.
