About

I have 10 years of Maths tutoring experience with AQA, OCR, Edexcel and CIE exam boards. I have taught at school and university level and I also have industry experience. My approach is to break down topics in a methodical manner, ensuring each is thoroughly mastered from basics to advanced, and adapt to the students' learning style. I am also an examiner (over 10 years experience), moderator and team leader and can thus improve students' exam techniques and presentation of answers and help maximise marks in exams.

I have a wealth of resources available that are proven to maximise students' potential. All of my previous students have moved levels and received excellent results (with loads of 9s achieved).

Maths is my passion and I enjoy maximising students' potential and make them more confident in Maths.

Please note I do not travel. I live in Wollaton vale and I have a dedicated tuition room with all resources required. I also offer online sessions and can give access to interactive boards and they work just as well as face to face. I have good successes for online sessions. I can offer a free trial so that you can be reassured, in case travelling to mine isn't possible.

She assessed my daughter's learning needs in the first lesson and I was impressed that she had accurately gauged her level and had a clear action plan to address deficits in her maths knowledge.
