My daughter, aged 7, was really struggling with her Maths, lagged far behind her friends and avoided the subject where ever possible. After just a few weeks at Mathnasium we have not only seen her confidence grow in the subject, she is going out of her way to enjoy it. This change in mindset is invaluable and this has also translated to improvements in her English, reading lessons and general feelings towards school in general. The cost is significant. We have tried other alternatives, such as Kumon, but the results never materialised and though cheaper, I felt they didn't deliver. I wish I could afford to send both my daughters. My 16 year old daughter has been going to Mathnasium Crouch End for just 6 weeks, & already she is feeling far more confident about maths having found it difficult in the past with the national school teaching format not being able to not to give her the time or individual attention she needed. She really enjoys the sessions & has benefited enormously from her tailor-made learning plan which has given her marked improvements in her mock GCSE's result's in subjects which require a good level of understanding and competence in core areas of Maths She always comes home after a session with a positive sense of achievement which is as a parent is wonderful after her previous levels of frustration with Maths.
