Once again Marvel did a marvellous job for me at short notice when I was desperate to have a new gas cooker I'd bought elsewhere fitted. Aware I was very anxious to be out of my house to a tight time scale for a rare chance to meet friends met at university 61 years ago, they got someone to me sooner than they had thought possible. As on a previous job they did for me they sent another lovely young man, courteous, efficient, caring and helpful. He had to work in a tight space and perform some gymnastics but he managed everything without fuss or bother and talked me through and showed me how everything worked. He kindly manoeuvred my old cooker to the doorstep to be collected by the Council. It was a superb job at a very fair price and all my dealings with the staff in booking, in paying, as well as with the engineer were straightforward and efficient. Efficient. Plumber quickly diagnosed source of a leak from pipes connected to the bath. Marvel ordered parts which arrived promptly and leak fixed a couple of days later. Fairly and transparently priced and good job done. They say they try and fix problems in first visit but our leak was not the expected one, hence it look a little longer as first plumber didn't have the right parts. Marvel's plumbers were very good - well prepared and thorough. They reviewed the situation and I completely trusted that they were going to do the right thing for me and solve my problems. They were quick. On the first visit they identified the need for special parts to be ordered. Unfortunately they also bought the wrong valves after quick look not noticing at first that special ones were needed. It was a bank holiday so hard to find a plumber. We had a leak that we could not leave as water was coming into the kitchen. I contacted Marvel and the plumber said they were on a job but would come to me after. They phoned when they were on the way to us, they were very clean, friendly and very efficient.
