Everything is just perfect! I hired a piano from Markson almost six months ago. It was a beautiful Yamaha, and I fell in love with it the moment it settled in my flat. The service has been wonderful as well. The delivery was prompt and seamless. When I asked for someone to tune it after delivery because the pedals were squeaky, they sent me a very fine technician - for free, as part of the first-time tuning - who also has a degree in music. I recently bought a second hand piano from Markson. Before I bought it, I visited the showroom a couple of times and tried the piano to make sure that was the one I wanted. At both times, staff was very friendly and helpful.
After the delivery, I noticed a minor issue with the piano. Markson quickly responded positively and rectified the issue at no extra cost. Excellent customer service as well as a lovely instrument. We needed a 9' concert grand piano for an event in Birmingham but could not find a suitable instrument in Brum. Markson Pianos said they would deliver from London to Birmingham. They were concerned about getting the timing of the delivery correct since there can be lots of traffic issues, which was greatly appreciated, so offered alternative delivery times as well. The guys who did the delivery and collection were just lovely chaps! They made it look far too easy to wield around a 9' piano.
The piano itself sounded gorgeous. I definitely would recommend and will be going back to them next time! More...
