Stacie personifies the name of her training service, Manners Please.  Very skillfully loving to her trainees, both two- and four-legged ones.  Her instructions are clear and concise.  She is well-able to break things down into tiny steps to ensure success with the training.  Patient with puppy training, my guy loved her.  Patient with my learning ability, I think I love her too. I have been seeing Dr Forest for over 8 years.  She is sympathetic, upbeat, good at coming at a problem in multiple ways, easy to schedule and flexible.  The parking at her office building isn't cheap and meters are usually full so one needs to come a bit before.  She also has a service dog that is ADORABLE and comes to the office on a day or two a week! Stacie is the only real Dog Whisperer!  I am serious.  My husband and I met Stacie about 4-1/2 years ago.  She worked with our new  baby - a little toy fox terrier.  She was doing sit - up - down - off - high-five - under - over - stay - around in no time at all.  She LOVED the agility training as well.  Minnie adores her and so do we.Now we have another toy fox terrier and she's deaf.  Stacie is working with her using hand signals and it's amazing!  We just purchased an E-Collar which vibrates and can be used up to 1/2 mile away: educatorcollars.com/educ…Over time, the goal is to have this dog assist me with medical issues. It will be a slow process but a worthy one.  We (both 2 legged and 4 legged) are grateful for Stacie's knowledge, the ability to speak "dog", her calm and caring manner and her kindness to us. So grateful to have met Stacie at a local doggie park.  We've adopted 2 hyper, funny Boston Terriers, 3 years  and 10 months old, and of course lots of laugh and games but we needed HELP! With boundaries, they were the walking terrors of our neighborhood as cute as they are and through Stacie's gentle and effective, fabulous training, Athena and Amor are pretty much under control.  Her great ideas work every time and FAST, and with our busy lives fast is great. Now they're calmer, Athena doesn't bark unnecessarily, and they're learning their SPOT on the couch, not all over the place. When we are in control they feel calmer too, which has helped with house training too.  Thank you Stacie!!! You're awesome! See you next week!! More...

Earlier this year I adopted my very first furry friend ever, needless to say it's been a bit of a challenge.  While I managed to teach the Little guy a few things I knew we needed help, I researched several trainers in the L. A. area and stumbled onto Manner Please.  After reading Stacie's bio and learning she became a trainer to follow her passion I knew she was the trainers for us.Stacie has by far exceeded any of the expectations I had, she is so down to earth.  The moment you meet her it feels like you've known her your entire life.  She is super understanding of my situation (me having NO idea what I was doing) and makes sure everything she is showing me makes complete sense.  My Little Guy LOVES her.  He's a rambunctious creature yet somehow she can get him to listen, something I still have to work on... A LOT.  Understanding my Little Guy is tough but with Stacie's help every step of the way I know we'll get there =) More...

I bought the 3 training session deal on Living Social. It was great having Stacie and Steve come to our house for the 1-on-1 training. Stacie is fantastic, she's patient, kind and incredibly knowledgeable. Buster can be quite a handful as he's a chihuahua with a short attention span but Stacie still manages to get through to him. We've learned how to take the tools she taught us to train Buster to be a more perfect dog/member of our family. I would highly recommend Manners Please Canine Training. More...

We first met Stacie through a training school a few years ago and kept signing up for the next level courses. Stacie is so patient, friendly and has such a great, natural bond with dogs. She taught us so much about dog behavior and gave us so many good pointers that help us to this day. We went away on vacation, we left our dogs with Stacie. We got daily reports and felt so reassured they were being loved and getting great care. We send anyone with a dog strait to Stacie! She is magic! More...

Stacie is absolutely terrific.  Cooper has learned all the basics and he is on his way to becoming a therapy dog -- this  is all because of Stacie.  Believe it or not, Stacie has even taught Cooper how to recognize different toys!!!  Incredible.  She is patient and caring and you simply could not ask for more from a trainer.  Thanks More...

Completely Satisfied & Totally Impressed! How lucky we were to be part of that living social deal before it was over, so the first 3 were free. But you definitely would not have known it! Stacie is the real deal! Each session was full of information, training, and lessons and I don't mean just for the puppy! The owner has a lot to learn and do if the training is to work. The puppies respond to her, listen and pay attention to her, she makes it fun for everyone! It's exciting to watch and so rewarding to see the outcome. She promotes Positive Reinforcement, Consistency, Easy Commands, Always Calm and Polite, hence the name...Manners Please. Before she leaves each session, you will see how successful her training is! I could not believe how quickly Lola responded to the commands or how easy it was for the owner to say the command and Lola immediately responded. Stacie is knowledgeable, experienced, trained & loves her job! We really learned a lot from her and look forward to continuing our education! She is Great! More...

Saw a difference in our puppy after just one session - can't wait for the rest.   Our dog Bean's puppy biting is pretty much gone, she's off the couch (had been scratching it) and my kids are doing great with our new puppy (Stacie taught the kids how to train the pup).  I love the personal attention and her getting everyone involved - would definitely recommend Manners Please training with Stacie!!! Dr. Forest is a godsend to me.  I am finally getting the help I need and I'm feeling so much better.  Dr. Forest is intuitive and she takes her time with me; she doesn't rush the appointment like most other psychiatrists do.  I highly recommend her. More...

I was skeptical that my 7 year old dog who has never had any sort of training could learn to listen and follow commands. But after he bit my girlfriend a few times when she moved in, we decided he absolutely had to get some training. Stacie came to our house weekly for three weeks. And the difference is amazing. He's like an entirely new dog. We still work with him everyday using the tools and practice methods she have us, and now my little guy is acting more like a gentleman than a crazy ball of energy.I wish there were more than five stars to give! Stacie is an outstanding trainer and is truly dedicated and compassionate. She teaches and trains using only positive reward systems by diagnosing and designing interventions that are original and fun. I have worked with Stacie with my Labradoodle puppy for over a year. The goal was for our dog to become a certified Pet Partners Therapy Dog which she achieved with outstanding ratings. The test consists if over 20 skills that are reviewed by examiners. I highly recommend her to anyone! More...
