Our son struggles with speech clarity and historically avoided eating most food textures at age 3. We met Mags and adopted a programme focused on the talk talk tools, which have have made a significant positive impact to both his eating ( textures are no longer a problem and he eats a variety of foods now) and his speech clarity, which is developing at speed. I would advise any parent/carer who is thinking about reaching out to Mags at Two Can Talk to make that phone call. I can not recommend Mags kirk enough - my son's speech development has been huge as well as his capacity to be able to chew his food (which has been problematic since birth). My son used to be incredibly withdrawn because he could not articulate what he wished to say and in turn people could not understand him either. Now my son is studying drama and wants to be reciting poems in front of an audience! His confidence has infinitely raised as well as his understanding of how to use his mouth to annunciate sounds and words. I can not express how much progress his had made in such little time especially as he is very poor at concentrating or sitting still for any length of time. Mags you are fantastic! More...

Giving children a passionate future. We tailor therapy specifically for the individual, taking into account their everyday lives so that therapy works in a practical way.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I wanted the freedom to run my own independent Speech and Language Therapy practice, free from the constraints of the NHS.
