How long have you been interested in magic?
I have been performing since I was 12 years old. I became a professional magician following an auspicious encounter with a patient when I worked as a nursing staff. She encouraged me to pursue my talent. The rest is history. Now my magic takes me all over the world. Entertaining people and creating memorable moments for my clients, famous and not so famous, is extremely rewarding.
Take us through your show – what can we expect?
Each event is different, and the audience (unbeknownst to them) engineer the direction of the show. But in essence, there will be mind reading and telepathy, levitation and telekinesis, psychological choice manipulation, mind-bending card magic, and everything you dream a magic show to comprise of.
What do you love most about your job?
I love seeing my clients and their guests completely satisfied, in awe and wanting more. When adults forget that they're grownups and rediscover their inner child once again as a result of my brand of magic. That is extremely rewarding. Money can't buy that feeling.
What inspired you to start your own business?
A while ago, I used to work as a nurse. Being in hospital as a patient is no picnic. So, whenever I had to check a patient's vital observations or when it was not very busy, I would go around the wards and perform for the patients - trying to make them forget where they were, for a while at least. One day, one of my patients, that was very unwell - but who clearly got so much escapism from watching my magic, had a very deep conversation with me. Trying to convince me that magic is what I was meant to be doing. Bringing joy, laughter and escapism into people's lives. Long story short, I gave up nursing (which I loved) to pursue this passion of mine, magic.
