Wow! what can I say? As a fellow photographer I am inspired to grow by Madeline's effortless talent behind the lens! We had the best time shooting with Maddie! We had never done a professional photo session as a couple before and were pretty nervous. But Maddie made us feel so comfortable and natural during the entire shoot. She made it fun and relaxing, no pressure at all. I feel like Maddie really caught who we are as a couple and as individuals. Where do we begin? Prior to the shoot Madeline went above and beyond to accommodate our crazy family schedule and we ended up shooting on Christmas Eve. Leading up to the shoot she kept in touch with us with regards to weather and the ideal Brookings, Oregon location for our pictures. The day of, as we were walking out the door, the kids begged to bring our aging and sometimes non-cooperative lab who is very much a part of our family. I sent her a quick message and Maddie quickly responded, "SURE!" On the river bank, where we met up, Maddie had scoped out the perfect location for our family and quickly and professionally snapped photo after photo, posed, candid, individual child, couple, whole family, Dad and boys, Mom and daughter etc. We left the shoot excited to see the magic that she had done with our family and in short time we sure did. We are completely blown away by the stunning photos that she gave us. Maddie, without question, captured the kids personalities and the sheer love that exists in our little family. She sent us so many photos it will be difficult to select which ones we will have made to hang up in the house and give to family and friends - all which will be treasured forever. The photo shoot was super easy. I was impressed that she was able to get some shots of my dogs actually looking at the camera. They move around non-stop and one hates cameras. We got our pics back much faster than I expected. She got a few shots that we will for sure be framing and using for Christmas cards/gifts. The lighting and colors in the pics were gorgeous.
