What do you love most about your job?
I enjoy helping all sorts of clients to understand and manage their tech. I value helping people to maintain their independence and giving them confidence in an increasingly virtual world.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I started Macwiz back in 1996 as a graphic design business using an Apple Macintosh computer as my primary design tool.
Back then Apple technology wasn’t as common as it is now, but even so, I felt that the emerging Apple tech was the sort of thing that really interested me, rather than (just) graphic design.
Since then I have been helping people with their Apple devices as well as with the other Microsoft and Android systems that are crucial to our lives and work.
Why should our clients choose you?
I am not a call centre. I offer a personal IT service. Understanding you and your technological devices is the best way for me to help you with your IT needs.

I can assist you by connection to your PC or Mac. I can even help you on your smartphone or tablet if you have Zoom installed.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
Most of my services are now online. If a visit is necessary during the COVID-19 crisis, I will visit suitably masked and gloved. Or I can collect your device if you are nearby, within my call-out area.
Apple Tech Tuition – Mac, iPad, iPhone
Apple tech tuition and guidance, with ongoing bitesize help, if you require it, to assist you to become proficient with Apple devices and services. Learn to be independent and competent in using these tools at home and at work. My training is geared toward adult beginners or those at a more intermediate level.
For those not in my local area, I can offer this service remotely via Zoom and remote desktop.
