I was very impressed from the moment I called MacKir Roofing and Construction. *** and his crew arrived a few hours after I made the call to do the emergency repairs to my hail damaged roof. ****** was very helpful explaining the insurance process and filing my insurance claim. *** is very knowledgeable and met with my insurance adjuster to make sure nothing was missed on my claim. We are completely satisfied with the professional job and personal touches to our new roof, gutters, fence repair and painting. I did not get a new roof so this review is for a few minor repairs. I got an estimate from I assume was ****** ****** (I misplaced his business card). Whoever it was, he worked for MacKir Roofing. He had 5 times more energy than I had. He was extremely knowledgeable about roofs. I wanted the chimney painted, a roof vent replaced, and a few shingles fixed. He noted multiple ridge shingles that needed replacing so they did nearly a bundle of shingles (around 30) not just the 3 that I knew about. Used 2 coats of paint on chimney. MacKir Roofing did a great job on all of our work (new roof, gutters, window screens and fence staining) after a hail storm. They came out immediately to fix any roof damage in case it rained before it could be replaced. They were professional, friendly, prompt and best of all they were very clean. They even checked with our neighbors to make sure that no roof material had flown into their back yards. They even handled our insurance claim after our initial estimate was done. If you need an honest, helpful roofer with quality work, ****** Roofing is who you should call. We've had several hail storms since being in our house for the last 9 years and another big hail storm had just hit when we called ******* They were a recommendation from a friend and I'm so glad we called them. They came out the next day to walk our roof and make sure we didn't need any immediate repairs. They worked directly with our insurance company, which was a huge relief as this was our first homeowner insurance claim. Even though their job was to install a roof, they went way above and beyond by answering all of our questions and making sure we understood how everything would work with our insurance company as well as the roof installation.
