Took my nine year old mac book pro in with numerous faults... The machine is my life / work.. It was over heating, crashing, one speaker out of action etc. . Macs are not always simple!! and in my case, it most certainly was not. Somewhere inside lay a Gremlin of confounding awkwardness. For hours and hours it would hide away and then, without warning, reappear and randomly shut my machine down. !! The boys at Mac Simple Morton tried everything with numerous new components, combinations and test procedures, all to no avail. Eventually, after many unprofitable hours they fixed it, not sure how but they did and at no extra charge and in so doing they honoured their commitment to me and like Kent, remain 'Invictus'. Tom and Henry are just brilliant. They know their stuff, are very approachable and very very efficient. I went in today with an ailing MacBook Pro. In 2hrs they had checked it and phoned to say the hard drive is failing, gave me 3 options and prices to remedy, and will have the job done by Saturday so I can get back to business!!How lucky are we to have Mac Simple in Moreton!?! I dropped my new IPhone after getting of the bus and didn’t know what to do. Phone was not usable and was flickering even though it had a screen protector on. My uncle who was staying with us for a few days took me to the Mac simple in Moreton in Marsh about 5 minutes from where I live and the cost to repair phone screen and buy a new protector was £86 (IPhone SE) and the phone took 25 minutes to repair. Highly recommended! Dropped in with a significant issue. The staff let me try a few simple fixes and then tried a couple themselves before quoting a replacement piece. They then fixed the computer in an hour and returned it good as new. Friendly, patient, knowledgable and efficient = exactly what you need for a mac repair place! Another glowing review I'm afraid! Popped in as I was having problems with the speaker on my Iphone - when I FaceTimed or used speakerphone no one could hear me. After a few minutes, the problem was easily diagnosed (speaker was dirty and needed cleaning) and solved. A simple problem with a simple solution but I never would have fixed it by myself. Excellent. I've been a mac user since the early 1980s, and have been through dozens of repair and support businesses in that time, some better than others. They were quick, the price was excellent, and they gave me sensible advice about fixing my older machines (or not). One of the best services I've had over the years, and no hard sell, just good sense from someone who obviously knew the machines well and could diagnose issues with his brain rather than by following a questionnaire designed for a numpty. I went to these guys after spilling a full cup of tea on my MacBook pro. I thought my comp was a goner. The team at Mac Simple is professional, efficient and friendly. My Macbook Pro 2009 had a dying hard drive and they were able to revive my "vintage Mac" and make it feel like new by installing a high-speed Solid state drive to replace the old one. I had been told by the main Apple servicer in Oxford that I needed to simply buy a new computer, but the technicians at Mac Simple proved that theory wrong. Brilliant service! Super quick, reasonably priced, friendly and extremely knowledgeable staff who don't try to sell you services/products you don't need. Called Mac Simple last Thursday with view to upgrading a very slow running 2011 imac, having seen very complimentary reviews on line. I was very happy with their plan to upgrade and dropped the imac off with them late on Friday afternoon. The Tuesday morning after I received a call to say all was finished and on Wednesday morning I picked it up. I now have an amazingly fast running imac with solid state hard disc and uprated RAM. All my data and software was transferred onto the new hard disc without any issue and the other components were all checked out. I will have no hesitation in returning to Mac Simple in future and have already recommended to a couple of friends. Great service. More...
