Fed up with bad TV reception so googled local companies and MR Aerials seemed to get good reviews. I sent an email outlining the problem, and the company called me back ( at 8pm on a Sunday! ) to arrange a visit. Called M R Aerials and the engineer was very friendly and helpful over the phone - was able to provide useful information. Asked him if he would come over to the house and he was able to come on the same day, and was even quicker than promised. He identified the problem quickly and did a good repair job (he actually gave us the option of repair or replacement, whatever we wanted). Was very thorough and stayed till he was satisfied everything was spot-on. Even tidied up some cables flapping about outside as an extra-and didn't want any money for it. In terms of money only wanted the call-out fee which we agreed over the phone (even though he was here a while sorting out the issue - outside in wind and hail!!!) We have moved into a village which suffers patchy reception due to the terrain. Maurice turned up when he said he would, he didn't try to load his (very reasonable) quote with extras on arrival and was an absolute pleasure to deal with throughout. A minor problem was very promptly attended to and we can now receive all the Freeview channels, including the HD ones and the "weaker" ones that dropped out randomly before and with the added benefit of an aerial that is in the loft so no worries about weather damage or corrosion etc.He even sorted a problem with the aerial point on the wall behind the main TV and made sure the points in the bedrooms worked ok. We tried to get a new aerial fitted on the Thursday prior to moving into new house over the Easter Holiday weekend, but were let down by the first company we contacted. Contacted MR Aerials on the 18th and Maurice Ridley can out on the 19th, He diagnosed the fault and gave me a price to rectify the problem. He then proceeded to professionally complete the job which also included the need to completely rewire the aerial.Very polite, clean and skilled installer. 100% satisfied and the job still only cost the initial quotation price.
