James and his team couldn't do enough for us at our wedding. Nothing was too much to ask and we are STILL getting compliments now about the quality (and quantity! ) of the food on the day. Despite having a large number of guests with specific needs, including allergies, dietary requirements, veggies, vegans, GF and children etc. the day went as smoothly as we could have wished for. James and his staff were incredibly helpful with slicing our cake, moving furniture into the dining room, welcoming guests and offering help to all our guests throughout the day, our wine was even kindly opened and served for our guests with no hassle. The food was out of this world, having opted for platters of amazing slow cooked lamb shoulder, vegetarian paella and poached sides of salmon, plus all of the delicious sides! The trio of desserts we picked were beautiful and delighted all of our guests to no end. We also had some lovely locally sourced evening food served to our evening guests.In short, we couldn't have put our faith in a better company, the food made the day. Thank you! More...

Lyme Bay Field Kitchen were brilliant caterers at our daughters wedding last year and could not have been more helpful. We held a traditional wedding at our house in Devon with a marquee and proper sit down affair. We had looked at several caterers some with very well known names and vastly more expensive. Their attitude to us was very impersonal whereas James right from the start offered a very personal serviceWith great attention to detail. They were extremely helpful and the menu we eventually decided on was praised by all our guests without exception. The food is really excellent as is the staff and service. Excellent food and service. We hired James and his team for our wedding of 130 people. The food was outstanding - probably the best wedding food I've ever had, especially for outdoor catering. Our guests really enjoyed the sharing bowls. His team were very helpful throughout the day serving drinks at the reception and clearing up after the meal. All in all, unbelievable value for money! What’s your signature dish?
We do alot of summer weddings and favourite dishes would be BBQ's with salads, large paellas cooked on site in front of guests, picnic hampers served with sharing boards and plated slow cooked meats. More signature dishes than dish!
How do you go about creating the perfect menu for your clients?
We offer our current menu as these are the most popular dishes for that year, then we have the option to modify these or create a bespoke menu based on the clients preferences.
What do you love most about your job?
Weddings are fantastic events to work at as everyone is happy and looking forward to a great day. Working in different locations, with a variety of stunning Westcountry wedding venues. Sometimes in a manor house, sometimes in a tent in a field!
What inspired you to start your own business?
Taking our passion for food and offering it on a larger scale to weddings across the Westcountry, has given us the freedom to travel to many stunning locations and work with some fantastic couples. The lifestyle of a wedding caterer is very busy in the summer season but very enjoyable.

We provide a one on one service from the start, providing a seamless service for your big day. Nothing is too much trouble and we are always on hand to chat through any part of the day and offer our wealth of knowledge and advice.
