Anna and Mike at Luna weddings captured our special day in March 2018 and we could not have been happier with our gorgeous photos and the enthusiasm and professionalism in which they handled our day. Both Anna and Mike made us feel so at ease, knew exactly how to capture key moments and produced some out of this world shots. Anna and Mike felt more like wedding guests than photographers we had only met with a handful of times and we received so many compliments from guests about how they blended in with our day. After our big day we headed off on our honeymoon and Anna provided us with a few photos of our day while we waited for the full album. This made our honeymoon even more special- we loved receiving sneak peeks! Our photos are beautiful and the documentary style means that we are able to remember and relive moments that could have been so easily missed. We couldn't be happier with our photos from Luna Weddings. Mike and Anna were fabulous, made us feel so at ease, chased us around for hours and captured well over 1000 amazing moments. Every time we look through our photos we spot something new! They were with us from the morning getting ready and stayed well into the party - something which lots of photographers don't do. It is so lovely to have so many pictures of all our guests enjoying themselves later in to the evening on the dance floor. Luna weddings were incredible from the first time we met mike and anna. We knew instantly that we would have a ball with them in the prep for our wedding and if course on the day. From our dawn photo shoot on dartmoor to our incredible weekend at huntsham court we could not have been more thankful to how anna and Mike captured our love fun emotions and day. Even now 2 years on the photos are like stepping back in time. WORLD CLASS PICTURES, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED & AMAZING EXPERIENCE! First of all, if you look at the pictures of Luna Weddings you would quickly realise how talented they are. Their pictures brings out colours which many photographers fail to and worth mentioning the number of awards they have won is rather impressive!! Secondly, the positive chemistry Anna and Mike had very quickly put my wife and I at ease and before you know it, we were smiling and laughing at our own will. On the wedding day itself, they captured many memories and expressions which we constantly look back on. Fabulous photographers! Anna & Mike from Luna Photography were just the best possible match for us & our wedding day. From our engagement shoot through to receiving a little taster of our big day’s photos as we flew off on our honeymoon, the level of attention, communication & detail were perfect. Having two photographers was important to us as we wanted to capture the full day for both of us. They were relaxed, warm, professional, flexible, unobtrusive & made sure we got the memorable shots that we would otherwise have forgotten. Our guests loved them & they even stayed late to capture dance-floor photos, despite having to travel hundreds of miles the same night to do another shoot the next day. It was important to us that we used local businesses for our wedding. Luckily our local photographer also happened to be award winning! Luna are personable, professional and ensure they get the photos you want. We worked with Mike in a rehearsal shoot before the wedding which helped us to relax. Luna do relaxed documentary photography and it means there was no waiting around, posed photographs. Our friends commented that they never knew their photo was being taken. Luna are unobtrusive, Anna & Mike fit in and didn’t take over and were accommodating to requests from guests. The Luna website is full of amazing award winning photos but we can confirm that even though we didn’t make the cut for their website we were absolutely bowled over by our wedding photos. I cannot recommend the Day In The Life shoots by Anna enough, she's not just taken pictures of me and my family, she's encapsulated a mood, a feeling, a miniscule stage in our everyday lives that would otherwise have been forgotten and lost. My second baby was born only nine months ago and we've since had Anna over to do three Day In The Life shoots. She captures normality with such beauty! One of my absolute favourite shots was me perched on the edge of the sofa, barefoot, no make up, curled around a rare hot cup of tea while the baby sleeps behind me. I would usually cringe at the sight of a picture of me not sucking my tummy in but it's just so real and raw and candid that I completely love it! Pictures of my partner yawning while our daughter reads another Biff and Chip book from school, pictures of our son in the back of the car sneezing while me and my daughter smile at him, bike rides, bathtime, messy mealtimes, our beloved ageing dog fleeting moments that would've been missed and lost had it not been for Anna and her magical talent with a camera. We chose Luna to photograph our wedding in October 2016. We were most impressed with the quality of work on their website, and the pictures taken in low light are stunning. They offer an inclusive photo shoot before your wedding at a place of your choosing and this is a great way to find out what Anna and Mike are all about. We had a great time with them at our local beach, and this ‘rehearsal’ made things a lot more relaxed when it came to the big day. There’s plenty to think about on a wedding day, but having the Luna team present is anything but stressful - in fact, we asked them to be our witnesses at the registry office. Mike also acted as a substitute best man (calming and reassuring) when the real one was nowhere to be seen.When it came to the wedding, Anna and Mike did an an exceptional job of capturing every mood, moment and emotion as the day unfolded. These are not simply photographers, they are artists. They have a veritable arsenal of unaffordable cameras and lenses at their disposal. As far as I am aware, they only shoot with prime lenses. All this shows in the end results. However, taking the photographs is only half the work - the post production and editing that’s been applied has resulted in a beautiful, timeless selection of pictures that we will cherish for many years to come.
