Lucy is absolutely wonderful. We were anxious to avoid any awkward, overly formal photos of our wedding, and did not want our guests to get bored during hours of posed photos. Lucy understood totally and what we have instead is the most wonderful collection of images that perfectly capture the day and everything that happened. Lucy has a magical ability to be everywhere except in the way. Most of the time I had no idea where she was but somehow she caught every moment from every angle. She is also a delight to work with. So many people have admired our photos and commented on Lucy’s endless energy, cheer and humour on the day. The photography was honestly one element of the wedding I was dreading but I did not need to worry. Lucy did an absolutely incredible job of photographing our wedding - the pictures are amazing and she was just brilliant on the day. She managed to capture so many lovely moments as they happened so our photos are really natural - we loved seeing how much fun everyone was having and seeing little things we'd missed ourselves on the day because Lucy was just everywhere! She blended in so well and didn't tell us to pose for photos which was great - she just let us get on and enjoy the day. So many people mentioned how discrete and lovely Lucy was and how hard she'd worked - especially on a very long and hot day! We were totally thrilled with our photos - there's such a good mix of arty and unusual pictures along with pictures just capturing all our memories of the day and they're all beautiful. Lucy was the photographer at our wedding in August 2018. We were both a bit apprehensive about being photographed all day but the pre-wedding shoot we had was great to practice it. Lucy has provided an amazing service. In the lead up she was really clear about the service we would expect. On the day itself she took beautiful photos, capturing a great range of moments, really unobtrusively. Lucy is such a superb photographer. When we first met her to chat through logistics and for her to get to know us we instantly knew she would be perfect. Incredibly easy going and so accommodating to ensure our day was captured fantastically. On the day, Lucy went between two separate locations to capture the groom getting ready and my family and I. When she showed up to where I was staying she got right in the mix with everything and genuinely captured some great natural moments. Lucy photographed our wedding in May 2018, and is a wonderful photographer. She has a real skill for taking beautifully natural photos, and for spontaneously capturing some great moments. Because of this her photos really capture how the day felt. She also takes some beautiful posed shots – particularly difficult in our case as neither of us really like having our photo taken. Lucy photographed our wedding in September 2017 in South London and we couldn't be happier wit the results! The photos are so natural, which is exactly what we were looking for- and a few classic shots as well which are lovely. Lucy managed to capture some incredible moments and was always in the right place at the right time- yet never in an intrusive way. From the early preparations in the morning, through the ceremony and reception, right up until the final drinks at the bar Lucy was there to capture our wedding day in such creative yet natural ways that we would never have thought possible. We had met Lucy a few months earlier having opted for the engagement shoot and are really glad we did as it meant that we were both much more comfortable in front of the camera on the big day, and we got some great photos of the two of us in a relaxed environment. What a great collection of photos! Going through Lucy’s photos is like watching a “highlights video” of our wedding day being replayed before our very own eyes, reliving our wonderful memories of the day.
Lucy captured so many special moments on the day – it was great fun looking at all of her photographs of the day and discovered moments we’d missed! Lucy was part of the day from the word go and her natural approach fitted in with our overall approach to the day and our plans very well. She was even happy to hang out of the window of a car and photograph our cycling entourage to the reception, such was her dedication!

Her photographs show great warmth and many people have commented on how happy we looked in the photos. Every time we look at them – and we have done this quite a few times – we notice something new or a little detail Lucy made sure to include and we smile. When we planned our lowkey london ceremony before our destination wedding I made a very minute last choice to find a photographer and stumbled across bark. The legal part for me turned out to be quite momentous and having Lucy there to capture it was the best decision I ever made. She contacted me really quickly after I sent out my bark and showed me some lovely examples of her work. Leading up to the day Lucy was extremely easy to communicate with and very accommodating. On the day of our small ceremony with just family she somehow managed to capture the essence of everyone there and of the day. Just by looking at the beautiful photos you can see how relaxed we are in her presence. She is so easy to be around and let's you be you! We had so much fun working with Lucy. She sent us a highlight gallery very quickly and then a beautiful USB with so many stunning images. She doesn't have a cut off like a lot of photographers. Extremely excellent value.
I would highly recommend Lucy for capturing the special moments in your life. She has a true gift and is a master of her craft. Already thinking of excuses to hire her again! More...

Lucy photographed our wedding in Florida and we absolutely loved the results - and it was a tough job with it being "too" sunny! I was bursting with laughter/joy when I saw the photos for the first time. The photos are absolutely beautiful and highlight such enjoyment from us and all our guests which was so touching to see. We're not naturally comfortable in front of the camera but she made it very easy and relaxed for us. Lucy is a real talent. She photographed our intimate wedding at islington town hall, London. I found her on Bark website and my wedding day was the first day we met. I couldn't ask for more she was friendly and comforting us not to worry too much as I was super nervous! Her photos were so fantastic I almost cried when I saw them! Lucy was an absolute pro through the entire wedding process. My wife and I had a particularly tricky set up - living in New York, but travelling back home to have our wedding in London. It made our lives so much easier that Lucy was so responsive over email and was equally willing to jump on the phone at all hours of the day! Her desire to capture what we wanted on the day was clear and she brought loads of great ideas to the table - made us feel comfortable right from the start. On the Big Day itself, Lucy again showed what a star she is. Lovingly referred to as the "long-lens ninja", she managed to achieve the impossible - blending in seamlessly with all the guests (we wanted very candid photos - very much Lucy's style) and yet when we thought about having certain shots taken "on demand", she was immediately on hand. I have no idea how she managed this dual feat, but it was just fantastic. Naturally, as soon as the photos arrived, me and my wife were delighted with the outcome.
