I am not a person to leave reviews (this might be the first one ever) but your wedding gown is such a big purchase and I was really excited about my visit with my mom - but my experience was so amazing I cannot not thank the shop and their colleagues publicly. Can I leave 6 stars somehow?! I’ve brought about 5-6 dresses in the changing room, and I kept trying one after the other and none of them really did anything for me. I liked the top but not the skirt, too shiny, too this too that - long story short I thought that this may be just not the place for me where I will buy my dress.At that point the owner got involved, I think she’s got what my issues were and pulled out one dress - I thought that’s the opposite of what I want, but she convinced me just to try it on - why not, it only takes a few minutes and I’ll get out of it. Was I wrong...... the dress was so perfect I could not believe my eyes!! My stong-woman-I’m-not-emotional mom even had half a tear in her eye when they’ve put the veil on :) we paid for the dress, cancelled all other appointments and cannot stop looking at the pictures they’ve made of me in the dress. I just cannot wait now to go and pick it up when it’s ready.Again, I cannot thank enough for everyone in the shop for helping me to find the dress and of course your patience :) I also absolutely adore the fact that this is not a chain, if you buy from them you’re helping your local business. I would never spend so much money on one dress again, this is the most important dress that I will ever have, and to have it at such a friendly small business just makes things even better.Sorry if I sound like an advert, probably still high on adrenaline from the excitement and success of yesterday! I saw a dress I loved in the window but the store was closed so called when they opened the next day and they kindly managed to fit me in. At no stage did it feel like a last minute appointment. Everyone was so helpful and there is a good selection of dresses though I ended buying the one in the window which was the first one I tried on! I couldn't recommend this place highly enough. Three weeks after getting engaged I booked an appointment just for fun to try on a few dresses and get ideas. But I didn't just get ideas, I found a dress! Thank you so much Jo for looking after us and having a bit of fun. I've experienced so many stuffy, rude bridal shops when shopping for friends' dresses and this was nothing like that at all. No mention of 'wedding diets' or any other horrible cliches.
