I know Lois from my local wedding planning business, Lois is nothing but professional, passionate and focussed which shows in all of her work. This is why I chose Lois to shoot a boudoir shoot for a special anniversary! Wow, completely love the images, loved working with Lois and felt comfortable at all times throughout! My partner totally loves the images which are a true reflection on who I am! The book is stunning and so well designed, the communication from start to finish to organise the shoot, during the shoot and getting the book right was amazing.

We found Lois at a wedding fair in the dome in Buxton and booked her that day, we're so glad we did! We met for a pre wedding shoot which is fab, breaks the ice and you know a bit more about it all. Never stopped laughing from beginning to end! Got some amazing photos from that too! Then on our wedding day, Lois and Jenny were with us every step of the way. Incredibly organized and were amazing at getting the photos we'd particularly asked for. We never felt like we were dragged away from our guests or that they were bossy (which I've heard a lot of photographers are) they are both so lovely and friendly yet professional! All our guests said how fab they were! Lois had some ideas she wanted to try and we were more than happy to be guinea pigs! We are over the moon with our photos, so many amazing memories all caught on camera! Without sounding like a massive cliche, our day can be summed up by photos, really captured the whole atmosphere! Lois also offers a really reasonable price for the top quality work and effort she puts in. We are yet to choose albums, which we can't wait to do! Lois was absolutely fantastic; we booked Lois for our Wedding day at Sandhole Oak Barn and so glad we did as she was exceptional on all accounts.

Lois is very creative and has a great arty vision, an extremely personable person which makes everything easier and fun.

Lois brought a second shooter (Charlie who was great too) and captured a lot of fine detail I haven’t seen other photographers capture such as picking out details on wedding dresses, various angles of table decorations we put a lot of thought into, and arty make up brush pallets shots amongst lots of others.

Our photos told the story of the day from the bridal party getting ready all the way through to our first dance, which will be forever in our memories.
All the photos Lois took of myself and Alex are stunning, The pre-wedding photo shoot really helped, in making us feel slightly more natural in front of the camera, and knowing how to pose for the actual day!

Lots of creative thoughtful images full of emotion of both of us varying from official photos to capturing us in the moment talking and laughing are all fantastic throughout, as well as guests.

Lois was great organising people for the group shot(s) knowing exactly what she wanted and being authorative in her quirky ways which we loved.
The quality and attention to detail that Lois has put into each and every one of our pictures is just incredible with an amazing set.

Lois is helpful, friendly and fun, and took time to go through our plans before the big day and the group photos we wanted. All our guests loved Lois, and you can tell she enjoys her job, smiling all the time which is great to see interacting with everyone.
A fantastic person, really comfortable to work with which is important when you are getting photographed.

The photo gallery turnaround is extremely fast, and we were happy to receive our photos so soon afterwards, firstly on the online gallery then a lovely package USB stick.

We first met Lois at Mottram Hall wedding fair and although we didn't book her on the day she really stuck in my mind. We went on to book her 3 weeks later. We automatically connected with her and she made us feel so at ease as we were just newly engaged and didn't have a clue what wedding planning entailed. She is an extremely friendly and organised photographer who sends through a timeline which means that everything runs like clockwork on the wedding day. Lois who was assisted by Charlie made everyone feel so at ease on our wedding day including my little nieces and nephews. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending her. She is fantastic. Lois was an absolute star at our wedding, particularly when I got held up in traffic and she reassured me that I had time to get there and would still get married! She was so friendly and relaxed when we met in the lead up to the big day, giving great advice on timings and photo arrangements. Her experience helped things run smoothly throughout the day, including taking advantage of the spells of good weather, the Buxton tram, and the traction engines outside the pub! We, and our guests, are so pleased with our amazing pictures and how well they take us back to re-living the day. Lois's (and her second photographer Charlie) style captured the traditional group photos, gorgeous detail, and wonderful natural moments of fun and laughter.

There aren't enough stars here to show how excellent Lois is. Right from the start, her warm, friendly manner put us at ease, and her support in the run up to the wedding was invaluable. She went above and beyond, advising us on matters far outside of the photography - it was more like having a wedding planner!

The photos are absolutely stunning, and they capture not just some really special and memorable moments but also moments that we didn't even know about - tears being wiped away and laughter over collapsing cakes. Would highly recommend Lois for any wedding or event photography! My family and I have been photographed by Lois several times in different circumstances - weddings, christenings, family photo shoots. But every time she works absolute magic with a camera capturing the most beautiful moments (even when you really don't feel beautiful at all, for example at 8 months pregnant feeling the size of a house and also 8 days after giving birth!) Her skills stretch far more than being able to take a good photo - she has an incredible ability of making people feel comfortable in their surroundings and grabbing those great natural shots as they happen. The services she provides when communicating about meetings and processing orders is also 5* with quick respones and fantastic quality products. Lois was our wedding day photographer. She provided a wonderful service from the beginning; preparing a custom service for the day, and giving a pre-wedding meeting. At the meeting, her prior experience with our chosen venue in Derbyshire even helped us with our overall wedding planning. Lois recently photographed our wedding, catching all of the most important moments, and many more! She is a consummate professional, who knows her job inside out, and never fails to bring a smile to any occasion! Lois is efficient, and remained in contact with myself regularly throughout the booking, planning and execution of all elements of our photography package, therefore taking the stress away from us completely! Lois also photographed our engagement with our young (extremely fidgety and fast) border collie, catching some amazing shots my husband and I will treasure forever, and took photos of my husband and myself the day after our wedding with my 2 horses, again creating some of the most beautiful images....which have of course been the first of our wedding photos to make it to the wall! FANTASTIC
We met Lois at a wedding fair, it was not only her work that stood out but her friendly personality.
Her organisation prior to the big day was superb, sending paper work and arranging a meet up to organise arrangements for the day.
On the day she was brilliant, brides spent a lot of time leading up to the wedding planning this arranging that and deciding this, on the day Lois completely took all the stress out of the day. Not only was she fabulous at organising and getting lovely photos she was like a secret ninja bridesmaid. Without getting in the way she made sure dresses were straight and necklaces the right way.
Our photos were sent within the time scale she set and are amazing, she has captured all the photos we requested and more.

How many weddings have you been to where the guests are effusively positive about the photographer? Lois was with us for our special day and while taking breathtakingly beautiful shots she managed to endear herself to the entire party and left a lasting impression. Many wedding photographers insert themselves into the ceremony as a necessary inconvenience. Lois on the other hand was an absolute delight and we feel extremely lucky to have found her.
