There are no words to adequately express how grateful we are to have found Paws and Claws Pet Nannies!! The owner, Megan, has been such a blessing for our family and is truly one in a million. She looks after our two dogs every day (actually twice a day) and is so wonderful with them. She walks them daily, refills their water bowls and spoils them to death. She constantly works around our crazy schedules and is incredibly accommodating. She is so much more than a dog sitter, she truly feels like she is part of our family. Megan is THE BEST PET NANNY EVER IN THE HISTORY OF PET NANNY’S!! Not even exaggerating that in the slightest!! Her services she provides are top notch, and you will leave for work, vacation, or any other reason with a calm mind and heart knowing that there is someone there who for all accounts is the closest to a pet whisperer that I have ever seen. .. she will love and snuggle your babies, send you pictures and written update on how they are throughout the day, and even if your pet doesn’t particularly like other people, they will love her...that I promise you. Medications, specific requests, NO PROBLEMO!! Trust me. Let me add this... and this is no joke... you will return from your away-from-home responsibilities to find your home and fur-family in better condition than when you left. I LOVE Megan! My daughter wants to work for her when she gets older bc she is not only great with dogs but she is a great person in general! She is super organized. She interviews with you and your fur babies - I think she was taking care of a horse last week! She has a GPS identifier and takes TONS of timestamped pictures. Did I mention the SLEW of other services. Finding a great pet sitter was super important for us us as I lost a pet due to a bad boarding experience. Megan and her team is amazing. She gets it. Megan from Paws and Claws Pet Nannies did such a great job for us with taking care of our elderly dog who was on numerous medications and our younger puppy. Unfortunately our elderly girl passed away last month, but Megan was there when we needed her and I can't say enough great things on how she helped us during that time. Went into their shop to ask about their services as I was interested in a roller garage door and prices for an alarm. Although I only went in to get a few keys cut, I was pleased with the feedback and help they offered. They were able to give me a few brochures for me to take away and read and the keys were cut and ready while going through things with them. Very nice group of people and excellent service! More...

We moved into our property and the alarm system was a B&Q self fit. Not appropriate for any house. We shopped around and (although not the cheapest but very close) we decided on using Lockrite and I can tell you now they were and still are by a country mile the best security firm I have used. The service, the price, the after service all 5 star plus. However, the availability is even better, it is faultless, I cannot reccomend this company enough and I am the hardest person to please and I mean hardest most miserable client going. More...

Having used Lockrite Security Ltd year in year out to carry out our annual service to our home alarm, without any previous issues. This year’s service was the polar opposite. Their engineer arrived at our address, had a little tinker and before we knew it there was lots of ums and errs followed by this has never happened before! It turns out that whilst trying to access the main user menu to start testing the system the key pad stopped miraculously working. The engineer went on to inform us that due to the age of the equipment there are no spare parts and we would have to replace the control panel and key pad, roughly to the tune of £400-£500.... I thought this was a joke considering the annual service is a type of annual service plan that is touted with all the normal benefits. Anyway I thought I'd wait to hear from HQ only to be met with a quote for £432. I questioned how they'd reached this cost bearing in mind the equipment they quoted I could purchase off line for £142. Which means that they are profiting quite severely from something that their engineer had triggered. I was then answered with a very convoluted breakdown of how they'd reached this figure. Only to find out that they were intending to charge me not only for the original service which broke my system, with vat on twice. Plus double again to install it and guarantee the work for a year until my annual service would be due! This would probably be the norm if I'd decided that I'd like my system upgraded, but I wasn't. I can fully understand that equipment breaks. But what I don't understand is how when you have an annual service agreement, why you're not just charged the replacement parts price with service costs. This surly makes a mockery of a man arriving at your home for ten minutes and leaving £96 better off. Funny thou since I questioned how their calculator works I've had no reply. I would strongly think twice and hard before using a company which quite frankly leaves you high and dry with no other option but to pay their overly inflated prices to get your system back up and running.
