Hi Myself and now husband asked Tib to make our wedding cake. We had an unusual theme of ducks throughout our wedding. Had an amazing 50th Birthday cake created by Tib. My husband and daughter had arranged it as a lovely surprise. A really delicious lemon sponge covered beautifully with cow print icing . Topped off with a fantastically detailed model of the birthday girl sat on an armchair surrounded by her puppy and sewing!! I can only imagine the hours it took to create. We very carefully removed it to keep as a memento. Had so many comments from Guests about the detail and the wonderfully moist cake. Made my birthday even more special. Thankyou so much. When we ordered our Ruby Anniversary cake we didn't know what to expect! But wow when we saw it we couldn't believe the amount of work that had gone into the flowers that decorated the cake. The attention to detail was amazing, I didn't want to cut it and spoil it. The little cup cakes were also beautiful, and the presentation was excellent. Flawless, twisty, creative and expertly decorated- From the moment of contact till after the cake had left her house the service was excellent. She really took the time to get to know the recipient of the cake made changes and requested and made a really creative cake. Some times when u have a amazingly decorated cake the cake its self is not so nice but this was flawless inside and out. I contacted Tib a few months before my parents joint 70th birthday. I had a few ideas about the theme (Bill & Ben) and asked Tib for her thoughts. I received a response really quickly and my first impression of Tib was how fun, friendly and creative she was. It was so easy to communicate with Tib. She really understood what I was hoping to achieve and was clear about pricing, ingredients and techniques she could use. We ended up with stunning cup cakes in 4 different flavours and designs which fitted the theme beautifully. She delivered on time and sent text messages to check that we were on schedule (it was a surprise!). I thoroughly recommend Tib at Little Buttercup Cakery for any occasion. Tib was excellent from day one - she was so kind and friendly when we went for our initial meeting to discuss the type of wedding cake we were looking for and just "got" what we wanted. She has been dependable and clear throughout the process, whilst maintaining creativity with the design and adaptability with our flavour requests. She communicated excellently with our florist, who was providing a lot of the decoration for our semi-naked cake. The final cake was EXQUISITE - looked gorgeous and tasted even better!
