What a wonderful place! The staff are tremendous fun, especially the owner, who helped me choose a costume with all sorts of bright ideas and a bunch of Terry Pratchett in-jokes. My dog was just as welcome as I was.I was looking for a costume for an unorthodox wedding in Germany, and in the end, with Limelite's help, I went in full flamboyant Elizabethan costume as Lord Flashheart. The Germans were all dressed in stodgy mediaeval kit and didn't know what'd hit them. Hah. :) The costume was good solid quality clothing and I was surprised by how reasonable the price was, especially given that I took it for well over a week. More...

I found them to be extremely helpful and nothing was too much trouble. So many wonderful costumes to choose from so allow plenty of time to browse and have a chat. They also have a wide variety of accessories like swords, masks, hats and so much more. I love going in as I costume pantomimes and they have helped me out on several occasions. Well worth a look. Great shop for fancy dress. Very friendly service. Me and my mate needed a costume for a 1920s fancy dress event, as we wanted to go as the Peaky Blinders. I can’t remember her name, but lovely women picked out our costume from scratch, really looked the part and we won best dressed at our university party.
