I don't even know where to begin- Lindsey is absolutely AMAZING! Lindsey was my party planner for a big 40th birthday party I threw for myself. Lindsey was awesome from the first time we spoke. She helped find and secure all the vendors including a taco truck, photographer, photo booth, bartenders, wait staff, cake, etc. she was always available to speak with me, make suggestions, and answer my many questions. She thought of everything from ordering a late night snack to making sure we had bug spray- her attention to detail is impressive. I don't know what I would have done without her on the day of the party. She took care of decorations and setting up the venue and during the party- she was a lifesaver! I truly felt like a guest at my own party. All of my friends and family loved her and commented on how awesome she was. I have used Lili Marie Parties twice for balloon twisting and both times the balloon artist surpassed our expectations! The most recent being this past Saturday. I threw a Pokemon themed birthday party for my 5 year old and hired the balloon artist to entertain the kids. I wasn't expecting the balloon artist to create Pokemon balloons but every time a child asked for a certain Pokemon he was able to make it. Even made a special Charizard balloon for the birthday boy! Wow! I've used this company three times and they always exceeded my expectations. The first time was for my nephew's 2nd birthday party. As a gift to my sister in law, I asked Lili Marie Parties to help her out in planning a birthday party while she was too busy caring for a newborn. The party was amazing. The dessert table was to die for. When I realized she also does parties for adults, I quickly booked her for my wedding shower. They focus on every detail and made my shower intimate and unforgettable. They added a photo of each person and made individual champagne ring charms! Fast forward to a couple of years after my initial booking, I hired them for my baby shower. The decorations were breathtaking and oh the macaroon Ferris wheel was beautiful. This company has been my little secret for making a special day go off without a hitch. If you're busy and can't spend hours and hours looking through Pinterest for ideas, don't hesitate. Lindsey of Lili Marie Parties is FANTASTIC! I live in San Diego, and planned a joint baby shower for a large party of family and friends at the Herbarium in Chicago. Lindsey was so creative and easy to work with. Her prices were the best. We came up with ideas for decorating the venue, table arrangements, and ideas for a kids activity table. Had a big party for my daughters 5th birthday 3 weeks ago and needless to say it was a huge day for her and our family as well. Lil Marie's did a fantastic job making my daughters big day even better, Becka did a great job with everyone even the adults! There were tons of designs for the kids to choose from and I myself choose a Wolverine design that was very well done. Could've worn that design with pride at a Bears game WOW! I have probably a slightly different review than most because I'm not a customer of Lili Marie (yet) but I've worked with her as a chef at parties several times. I don't think I have to even say how amazing her parties look and what an excellent host she is but working with her lines right up with all of that. I've been a chef in fine dining restaurants, worked in corporate food and have my own personal chef business and Lindsey is plain and simply the best event planner that I've ever worked with. No ego. Always aiming to please, accommodating and always with a genuine smile on her face. You can just tell how real she is. She genuinely cares about her customers. Heck. If you were hosting a party with her and asked her to hold your baby for three hours, she'd run around the party with a baby in her arms while serving canapés!!! Katherine was fantastic for my daughter's birthday party which we hosted at home. We did one hour of face painting and one hour of balloons, which was perfect for our group of around 10 four year olds plus a few younger siblings. The kids were all thrilled and the adults were very impressed (my daughter requested her face painted like Clifford the red dog and it was really adorable!). I contacted Lili Marie Parties after reading excellent reviews about the company on Yelp. A few days before my son's fourth birthday party I decided that adding a face painter to the party would be cool. I emailed the company and the owner Lindsey got back to me right away. We set everything up but then the night before the party I realized I had spaced and given her the wrong time. Lindsey emailed me that same night to say that she'd try to fix the issue. The next morning she called me and arranged it so that the face painter (Laura) could come 30 minutes later. Laura was fabulous! She showed up on time and ready to paint a variety of beautiful designs on the kids' faces and hands. The birthday boy was thrilled to have Bumblebee the Transformer painted on his hand. Laura even painted Clifford the Big Red Dog on my youngest's hand. Seriously, book Lili Marie Parties for your next event. They do not disappoint!!!! I hosted an event in Chicago in conjunction with TheFitExpo and Lindsay was an absolute pleasure to have there. She was super professional. Kids loved her. She gave me great ideas about the party as it was my first time hosting one. I am very disorganized and I needed someone to help turn my crazy ideas into a reality. She was such a joy a to work with when I know I sometimes wasn't.
