Love L&L, both the studio and the owners. I recently completed a 6 week ladies only group session and can’t wait for the next one! The craziest time of year, from thanksgiving to New Years, working out 2-3 times a week helped me in so many ways. Obviously physically but also mentally as I was able to put myself first a few hours a week and found that I had more focus and energy afterwards to do what needed to be done for my family and to help Santa. Larah is a wealth of knowledge and the studio offers the complete package, effective exercise, nutritional info, modifications if needed, but mostly the dedication and support of their clients. Larah believed in me more than I believed in myself and she pushed me to be a better me! More...

It has been a year since I broke my foot and started working full time. Its been a year since I worked out on a regular basis. I knew I needed to do something. I did not want to be that person that couldn't find the time to work out. The person who surrenders to I am getting older. Then I found a 6 week challenge at Lift and Live fitness. I was able to talk 2 friends into joining with me and what an awesome 6 weeks it has been. Larah and Nicole are very knowledgeable trainers, I learned new ways to work my body, I looked forward to every work out. Each work out was modified to work for everyone in the class. Each week was a stepping stone for the next week. My main goal was to get there 3 times a week which I did with an added bonus of a 5.5 pound weight loss, a 3.7% reduction in body fat and a total of 6 inches off my body. I secretly believe I have one more marathon in me and with the help of Lift and Live fitness I now feel this is possible. More...

I just completed my 2nd 6-week challenge at LIFT and LIVE Fitness which has been eye opening and life-changing in a lot of ways. Full disclosure – during the 1st challenge, I did not embrace the nutrition piece. I was coming back from an injury and was more focused on getting back into the groove of consistent and safe workouts, which was what I needed at the time – at least that was my excuse. Really, I just had to get over myself and what I thought I knew about food. This time, I committed 100% to the Total Nutrition Plan which is real food, with practical solutions that don’t include a powder or a package for those “oh sh**” moments when things don’t go according to plan (which definitely happens!!). The results have been incredible -- I feel great and I can go harder in workouts than ever.

The classes have become such an integral part of my life – the support and love from the other women keeps everyone motivated and pushing to get stronger. We have all surprised ourselves more than once with what we are capable of, and seeing that makes me want to keep giving 110% every time.

My 6 week results: -10 pounds, -10+ total inches, -2.2% body fat, +HUGE smile -- and this is just the beginning. The biggest proof of the overall changes was when a stranger recently thought that I was 9 years younger than I am (no kidding!!).

I started off with the summer boot camp with my mum and siblings last summer and have stuck with L&L ever since! Nicole is a great trainer who is patient and pushes you past your expectations! Love this place!

I've worked with Lou for over a year. He is professional in all ways and extremely knowledgeable regarding all things fitness and diet. No matter how tired I am or distracted I am he helps me stay focused and working towards my fitness goals. I would recommend him and I have to friends and coworkers. More...

Outstanding 6 week group training experience just completed! Thrilled to have put myself in a group to stretch myself and gain the power as well as energy that comes from a group. LOVED the small size and the thoroughly thought out weekly themes to help me/us target our overall body growth and experience. I just finished up the 6 week group training (ladies only) at L&L fitness, which ran from Thanksgiving to Christmas. Over the six weeks, I enjoyed Larah's expertise - each week she focused on something different, from stamina to endurance to strength. Even though this was Larah's first attempt at group training, you would have never known that based on her preparedness and professionalism. It was nice to meet and work out with women who want to empower themselves and others through exercise. I am looking forward to the next 6 weeks! More...

Six weeks ago, I was in a workout rut. My normally active workout routine fell short and then completely disappeared over the Holidays. I needed motivation; something new to get me back on track. Lift and Live Fitness was the answer. Their new 6-week fitness challenge not only motivated me, it also expanded upon what I already thought I knew about fitness, testing my limits in every class! Larah and her team create a warm, welcoming environment where every fitness level is respected, and every success is celebrated. Thank you Larah and Nicole! Where did 6 weeks go? The 6 weeks of small group sessions were a challenge, but immensely rewarding. Your class structure and positive “sayings/quotes” made each class enjoyable. Your willingness to make adjustments for each exercise , if needed, made a huge difference with my flexibility and strength. Larah has such a wealth of knowledge and her passion is contagious! I have a lot to praise about @LIft and Live but I think one thing that especially sets this gym apart is Larah's ability to quickly adjust any exercise if it's not working for any reason. She always makes sure I am challeged and listening to my body. There's a great sense of community and a very warm and positive environment to meet your goals.
