My PT sessions with Liam have been informative & enjoyable. I’ve been going to the gym for years but decided I wanted to up my game & concentrate more on weights rather than HIIT/plyometrics which i’d been doing a lot of in the run up to PT. I chose Liam because I wanted my form to be spot on & I knew this was something he looked very closely at. Plus he is armed with a huge amount of knowledge & encouragement to help you achieve your goals & to get the most out of your time at the gym. I now have the confidence to train ‘solo’ in the weight area performing exercises I would never have done before. I’d certainly recommend Liam & will be re-booking more PT sessions or joining up to his Miami Peach Club programme. More...

Liam is knowledgeable, positive and always checking on your form so as to avoid injury to yourself and to get the best out of a session. He always responds to queries/messages in a timely fashion and offers excellent advice on nutrition/gym queries/ technique etc. He really invests an interest in helping you achieve your goals and keep on track diet wise as well as exercise. I would recommend Liam and the Miami Peach programme and have thoroughly enjoyed the sessions meeting some strong, friendly women and learning in a comfortable environment how to execute lower body exercises correctly. The group work is structured well and the reassurance and encouragement from Liam and the group members is really positive and encourages you to keep going and aim higher each session. He is patient and confident and will adapt an exercise if it isn't right for you. Sessions flow really well and he always encourages progression to help you to achieve your own personal best. I was a little apprehensive initally in joining the programme as I had seen the sessions and how strong some of these ladies are, but I am so pleased I came out of my comfort zone and joined. I have already noticed changes to my body shape in the ten weeks I have been training with Liam and I feel stronger and more confident in the gym, physically and metally and have loved every session of Miami Peach (even when I have wobbled out of the door!). Liam is a highly knowledgeable PT. He's helped me reach my goals in achievable steps always being highly motivational. He instills a desire, confidence and determination. He focuses on quality work and clearly plans each session for progression. He has coached me to adapt effective safe exercises for the long term. I would def recommend Liam as a personal trainer. I’ve just completed my first 10 weeks of personal training with Liam. He has got me doing things in the gym that I would never of done on my own, as a member of the gym I have only ever done classes. I first started doing boxing as a one on one with Liam about 5 months ago as I really enjoyed one of the box fit classes he takes and then I decided just after Christmas to ask about personal training he listened to what I wanted to achieve and tailored the training for me. When I first joined the gym about 2 years ago Liam’s was one of the first classes I signed up to do. I sat in the gym changing rooms gathering up the confidence to even ask where the classes were held so I asked one of the trainers who was outside the changing rooms and it happpened to be Liam who was taking the class I had never spoken to him before but he didn’t make me feel stupid even though I was 5 & 1/2 stone heavier than I am now. I was big and very unfit I’ve lost quite a bit of weight doing the personal training with Liam’s help. In the training sessions Liam has got me lifting weights I would not of done on my own and now don’t feel so self conscious . I’ve also signed myself up for another 10 sessions he listens to everything you ask & shows you how to lift the weights properly. Liam is very approachable and friendly. I have been training with Liam since July last year and I can strongly recommend him to anyone who is looking for a coach. I have been a member of the gym where I was doing a lot of group classes. The pace in the classes is tough but manageable and after a while I felt I had hit a wall. I couldn't lose any more weight on my own and I felt I wasn't making any progress. I was looking for a PT and a friend recommended Liam.After my first meeting with Liam I knew I was in good hands. He is easy to talk to, has a lot of patience to train inexperienced clients and is always coming up with new and creative workouts. It was also reassuring to know that he understood my fitness abilities. He is so not the show-off body builder-type-of trainer, but approaches his training in a genuinely informed way.I had only done body weight exercises prior to training with Liam and was almost scared of lifting weights. I had no confidence to train solo and would solely rely on the group classes. Liam made me feel comfortable lifting weights. He has always ensured that my technique is correct to avoid any injuries. He helped me improve my diet and set up a plan so that I can train on my own twice a week. He also frequently checks on how I am feeling after a session. I keep throwing questions at him every now and then during our sessions and I have to admit he truly knows his stuff. Most importantly, he respects my time and money and always makes sure that I get value out of it.I can see improvements that remind me that I'm making progress even when I’m not losing weight. I have been training with Liam for a year and a half now and have already seen big changes in myself physically and mentally . He is a very patient,tough and knowledgeable coach. I have been doing his box fit classes and 1:1 PT session’s which I really enjoy . He will keep checking on you with your progress and always have time to answer any questions be it regarding diet or fitness. I can’t praise highly enough as he is a very good ,passionate,skilful and knowledgeable coach.I highly recommend Liam. More...

I was introduced to Liam at the end of August by a friend when I applied for a UWCB event. Before having any sessions with Liam he took the time to speak to me over the phone and we discussed what I was looking for and what he was able to offer. Since August I’ve been having Liam twice a week, each session is something different but relates to the boxing goal in hand. Although some sessions have been tough, they have all been massively enjoyable. Each week we have been seeing improvements which has been helping with my confidence.I have now had my boxing match and even though i lost I have decided to keep training with Liam as I want to keep improving physically and it’s something I really enjoy. I hope to have another fight next year and with the help of Liam I know it’s going to be an easy win! I am currently in the middle of my second block of training sessions with Liam so have had 15 in all so far. I have been so impressed with his patience, his teaching and his understanding of the subject. He has helped improve my confidence in the gym and developed sessions that i can do on my own. I wanted to loose a bit of weight, change my shape and improve my strength which I have succeeded In doing thanks to Liams training. He has also kept an eye on my nutrition and when I've needed guidance he has given it in a non judgemental way. He has also kept in touch regularly between sessions ensuring I keep on track and how I am feeling after sessions. I have found him very encouraging and I recommend him to anyone serious about improving themselves in the gym. I am working towards a marathon now so my sessions have been geared to improving my overall strength. What is also good is that if I'm working alone Liam keeps one eye on my form to ensure I'm doing things correctly which I find reassuring. More...

I’ve just finished a 10 week block of sessions with a Liam and have been really impressed. I’ve regularly been a member of gyms but now feel significantly more confident and motivated - particularly with regards to weights and strength training. Liam has heaps of patience and is really knowledgable so I’d recommend him to both newbies and gym regulars. He is always contactable about diet and nutritional advice and offers a lot more than your average PT. Our sessions continue to challenge and motivate me, I’m really pleased with the results so far and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him. More...

I have been going to Liam’s classes for about a year now, and started PT sessions a few months ago to help with some posture/back issues, but also because I was absolutely frozen by the idea of hitting the gym floor on my own, I had no idea what to do or where to start. Liam is very patient and always tries to find the best way to explain “what”, “how” and “why” of each exercise but also diet wise. He keeps challenging us in the right measure, but he doesn’t let us rush into anything without building foundation for it, so what he does is educate us, really. On top of that, the fact that he really enjoys what he does is quite contagious and keeps our motivation on top. I noticed the difference in my body and performance quite quick with the PT sessions, my posture improved and my back issues are under control, I can finally do a session on my own once a week and I actually enjoy going to the gym, so... 100% recommend! Liam has a great way of tailoring a specific programme based on the individual's needs, as in my case I carried injuries. Through his hard work, dedication and knowledge after just a short period of having Liam as my personal trainer, I am already experiencing the difference in my body and mind . He looks at my diet and advises on the correct foods to eat and general behaviour around it and my body.
I find his approach very balanced and personal.
I have no hesitation in recommending Liam to my family and friends.
