Had my first session with Katherine today, being a cameraman I suffer greatly with my neck and shoulders but do little about it. I then every so often get so bad that I go to see someone for a massage but everytime I feel like I just get the standard treatment and then sent on my way. This leads to me feeling a bit better but having no confidence in getting a personalised service and so never go back. Today Katherine actually stood me up and watched me perform a few movements, analysed what was going on with me and then worked her magic. Often releasing something, getting me up and checking how it's affected my movent or posture and slowly learning how my muscles are responding to what she's doing. This is exactly what I've needed, so although I'm not magically cured in one session I'm looking forward to going back and slowly getting to where I want to be! I'll update again in a few months! A brilliant sports massage which has worked for me in multiple ways. It enables me to manage (ie avoid) tension headaches, it seems to be helping ease my RLS (restless legs syndrome) and just generally sorts out my aches and pains through varied techniques. I found this place on google and it’s been fantastic. I’ve been treated by Cecile who is passionate about her job and making people better. She is extremely knowledgable and the experience will be a very informative massage with focus and attention paid to your problem area. I went with back and shoulder pain related to stress and bad posture and they managed to treat it and I’m feeling much better. Would recommend this to anyone experiencing similar problems. More...

I suffered with loss of mobility in my arm after a team-building axe-throwing session. I phoned the centre and was a given a same-day consultation, followed by a few full sessions that significantly improved my range of movement and put me on course for a complete recovery. I have (stupidly) suffered with an intermittent bad back for over a decade and not done much about it. Finally after having my son, I realised I needed to be a lot more mobile with a toddler around!
I chose Walthamstow Osteopathy based on location and previous reviews and am so glad I did! Steve put me directly at ease, listened carefully to my rambling health history, and after three sessions of osteopathy and some acupuncture, I move more easily than I have done in years.
Steve is extremely good at what he does, and interesting to talk to during sessions too! My visits here have been worth every penny; I'm just annoyed with myself that I didn't go sooner. Thoroughly recommended.
