Lewis has the ability to find the most precious moments in something that seems so ordinary and everyday to me. He is not just a photographer though, he is the calm on a manic day, the usher when you don’t realise the time & the outfit fixer when things go a little bit wrong. When Greg and I set our wedding day, we booked DM photography and asked for 2 photographers to be with us throughout the day.
Dan then said that Lewis would be our 2nd photographer.
Lewis started the day with Greg and the ushers and helped to get them all ready (being the only one able to tie cravats) and also deal with the stress of some of the suits being ordered wrong; so last minute dash to town to get additional cravats. Lewis and Dan were amazing throughout the day and were both very professional, all of our guests commented on how lovely they both were.
The day was not ideal weather wise, we had wind and snow fall, however Greg and I said that we were willing to get a little bit dirty to get some shots and from what we have seen they are amazing. We got a little dirty, but Dan and Lewis were filthy!
Shortly after the wedding breakfast I became unwell, and both guys helped to keep guests away from me whilst I sorted myself out.
I've said it before and i will say it again and again, No where near enough credit is ever given to wedding photographers. They are able to capture the most personal and intimate moments of your day, without intruding. They capture those precious moments with your closest friends and family before you say your vows. They help to gather guests for photos and help to run the timings of the day.
Although we did not book directly with Lewis, he was an absolute star on our wedding day and i could not imagine our day without him and Dan. Would highly recommend both of these lovely guys.
