What do you love most about your job?
I love working with people to resolve issues that sometimes are recent and sometimes have plagued them since childhood. I endeavour to find whatever suits the client best and work with them to support them in finding a solution that fits them and feels right. I get a real sense of satisfaction supporting people find a different perspective on their life and find an inner peace to cope, accept and manage their life with a new confidence and outlook even if the external circumstances can't be altered.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I worked as a Samaritan for 5 years then spent 2 years getting my diplomas in relationship counselling with Relate and building up my hours and experience with many different clients and situations. After 5 years I felt I had the confidence to continue working one day a week at Relate and then set up in private practice. This givse more freedom and flexibility for longer term work, flexible appointments and different ways of working . Once the initial crisis is dealt with, there is also the possibility of having an appointment periodically as needed.

I love what I do, continue to attend regular training to keep adding new ways of working with a wide variety of different life challenges. I have life experience personally of dealing with challenges and offer a warm, empathetic , non-judgemental space for you to discover your own inner resources.
