My name is Laurence Clemente and I am a Nottingham based personal trainer with a decade of experience, varying from fat-loss and body transformations, to specific sports conditioning at all levels.

Laurence is a brilliant personal trainer, without whom I'd probably still be stuck in an endless cycle of attempt to get healthier / lapse / repeat.

From the very start of my training plan I saw that the theory behind the training matched with my knowledge as a healthcare professional, which helped me gain confidence and trust in the fact that I was in capable hands.

Laurence is also gifted at motivating people to rise above their limits and embrace a sustainable lifestyle. I've lost quite a bit of weight since I started training; I'm stronger and more flexible, have better endurance and have more energy in a day which has had a large positive impact in my life. (And I have greater pain tolerance!)

Aside from the primary health benefits, I've also learnt about the appropriate circumstances required to slap people when on a moving train, the appropriate way to address an impossible question from a martial arts master, the "sound" of a good stretch, and the fact that there's always one more way to lift a kettlebell.

I have worked with Laurence for over 12 months as my person trainer and at the age of 52 I think I am in better shape than I have ever been. The persona training programmes are tailored to suit you and your needs and Laurence is both supportive and pushes you to develop yourself. As well as improving my definition, my core strength is greatly increased. Surfing on the annual holiday to Cornwall now does not leave me aching for 2 days after!

If you want someone who has brilliant knowledge of nutrition and fitness programmes, who will work in a way to suit your individual needs, I would recommend speaking with Laurence as a personal trainer.

Having tried a number of personal trainers, Laurence is the only one that I believe tailors the training to the individual's strengths and more importantly weaknesses. Most do the same few exercises across all of their clients.

If you are training for a specific event Laurence can help you achieve your goals but if like me you are training simply to be fitter, stronger and leaner, competing only with yourself rather than with others, then you need a different mix of exercises and targets.

And Laurence is also there when it goes wrong too. In 2013 I ruptured my ACL skiing and Laurence was instrumental in allowing me to make a full recovery through a comprehensive reconditioning built specifically around what I was allowed (by the medics) to do and when.

For personal training I believe it does not get much better.

Laurence is an excellent personal trainer. I have worked with a number of trainers over the years but he is the best by far. He listens thoughtfully to what you want to achieve and then works with you in a quiet, calm but firm manner to help you reach your goals. He is always positive and encouraging, helping me achieve more than I ever dreamed I could

Put simply, his strength and conditioning programs work - if you are prepared to work with him - you will succeed. He has successfully helped me train for both national and international competitions - helping me win silver in the world championships last year.

What can I say about working with Laurence?

Well, a lot, actually - and all of it good!

I've worked with a number of personal trainers over the years and Laurence, is without doubt, the best I have ever worked with.

His approach to personal training is very individual and he gains a deep understanding of who you are, what your goals are and why you want to hit them. He's a great motivator and has encyclopaedic knowledge of fitness and nutrition.

He pushes you and you will get results. I'm the fittest and strongest I have ever been and Laurence is the only personal trainer I will ever use - simple.
