Sharyl was amazing to work with! She has a unique way of doing things and made it fun for all involved! Her knack for finding the perfect spot for a photo is unparalleled. Even if we didn't see what she had planned from the beginning, the photos were beautiful and far beyond expectations. We highly recommend her! Thank you again Sharyl! More...

Sharyl has captured 2 of the most important times in my life with such care, accuracy, and passion, that when I gave the gifts of watercolour paintings to my wife and my mom they were speechless, followed by tears.
These paintings are staples in our home and are a fantastic reminder that love can be captured by a TRUE artist's eye!
Thank you Shar and we look forward to the next set of memories we want you to capture for us.

Sheryl was great and a lot of fun. She helped us with cute poses as we had no idea what to do. She also took us to a great beautiful location. I also asked about changing clothes and she had a pop up tent for us to change anywhere. I highly recommend her for a photo shoot. She even brought us Gatorade (bc so hot) and a couple of props for photos. More...

Sharyl did an amazing at photographing my wedding. She is very easy to work with and made us all feel comfortable in front of the camera. I have wonderful photos to look back at and relive all the memories. Sharyl was so thoughtful and brought cold bottled water for my wedding party and I while we took pictures during the hot mid summer day. She also edited and had my pictures ready for viewing in incredible timing! I would recommend Sharyl to anyone. More...

What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
At Laughter Loves Photography we know how to manipulate the light for the best looking portraits. Sharyl teaches workshops throughout the year for beginning photography students and teaches them all about manual settings, best composition, interracting naturally with your clients and getting the best reactions caught on camera. Photoshop skills are heavily utilized to bring a one of a kind quality to your images.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
What do you want the overall feel of your photos to look like? What types and how many people will we be photographing? Are there any limitations we need to be aware of? Are you looking for studio work (studio located in the Westbottoms) or an out door feel?
What do you love most about your job?
I love taking your pictures and then turning them into something completely amazing through post-process editing
What inspired you to start your own business?
Sharyl started studying painting at KU but quickly moved to photography to make her visions come to life better. She started her business in 2009 and has been learning, growing and creating ever since
Why should our clients choose you?
Sharyl is a friendly, up beat individual with a knack for getting kids and stubborn husbands to let loose and show some real emotions. She helps with posing, creative ideas and wardrobe and is available before and after your session for your complimentary initial face to face (if you chose to go that way) and your Viewing and Ordering appointment.
