Jake Mowatt at Lambert Pugh helped with the sale of my property and I would certainly use the services again. The buyers solicitor was particularly difficult to contact (even the buyers themselves could only reach their sol through their mortgage advisor) so Jake had to spend time waiting/chasing to make it as smooth as possible. Although delayed on the buyers behalf, Jake consisted to chase with the solicitor and my estate agent, and took the time to speak with me when I called - which became pretty regular. Lambertpugh has been exceptional experience right from the beginning, with amazing updates throughout and an incredibly high standard of customer service and quality of legal work I have ever encountered. Liam guided me throughout purchasing my home and I had not a single doubt in his ability resulting in me leaving him to do his job without chasing or wondering what was going on. Having had a few bad experiences with a number solicitors for sales and purchases over the past few years, we were absolutely astonished at how on the ball and efficient Susie Dove was with our sale. I don't think we have ever had such a smooth, trouble free (and fast!) sale. At no point did we need to 'chase', check or rectify anything. We read reviews about Lambert Pugh, after instructing so we felt a bit apprehensive. I think people forget that solicitors are very busy. We were allocated Team 9 and couldn't be more impressed. They work from the emails sent the day before so yes, it could be 48 hours (technically less) before getting a response but they also have to allow other solicitors time to respond etc. My calls were always answered if I rang in the morning and I was always given the up to date info then and there. They were probably fed up of my calls as I rang nearly every day due to being anxious about the reviews! But always very professional and on top of things. We had no chain and it took us 3 months. This is standard and good timing for a house purchase. I think some forget how much paperwork and work has to go into it and chasing other parties, waiting on searches from council's (which averages 2-3 weeks) etc. All in all I'm glad I used Lambert Pugh as the service was outstanding and would use again. Solicitors and staff very helpful when buying our first house they keep us updated all the way through the process and answered any questions we had when going through the process and they were always on the end of the phone, if you couldn’t get an answer and left a message they would normally call you back the same day. We instructed Lambert Pugh to deal with our house purchase as these were the CHEAPEST solicitors we could find online. We were given a Team number (Team 2) and had day to day contact with Rebecca Samways who is a conveyancer within team 2. The response times given to us were top notch and we’re pleasantly surprise with the fantastic service Rebecca gave us, due to the fact we really felt like Rebecca went the extra mile with this purchase whilst remaining professional at all times.Our house purchase lasted for 6 months due to court fees and Rebecca consistently kept us updated during the full process. This was the second time I have used lambert pugh and I was pleased to have Hollie Laird working on my case as she was exceptionally helpful and always responded to emails/ calls very promptly. When she went off sick, I was immediately given the direct email address of Liam Wallace, who continued the transaction to completion. Our sale went well thanks to lambert Pugh and they were the cheapest quote we got. Although it was frustrating leaving voicemails for them to call back, they eventually did call back. During the last week of our sale they upped their game and were in contact regularly. Absolutely excellent experience for us with Lambert Pugh. They say never to use the cheapest solicitor you can find, well, we did and we don't regret it. Team 5 were fantastic in progressing our sale and purchase, both done in roughly ten weeks from the moment our home sold. Though in reality they did the purchase in less than 6 from the moment they could start properly.Be prepared to have to print and post documents and you will be waiting a working day for e-mail replies, but they will always come and it will save you money overall.
