My experience with Jen and Deanna was incredible! I had a blast doing a shoot for my husband to be. I've never felt the level of confidence that I felt after I left the Lady Luck studio. I gave my fiancé the photos last night and he adored them. I'm pretty sure once I show him the raw photos that we will be ordering more. My only regret was waiting 8 years to do a photo shoot! I did a Lady Luck photoshoot as a surprise for my man for our anniversary. This was hands down one of the greatest experiences of my life. Jen and I had an instant connection; she made me feel so insanely comfortable in my own skin and supported and went with my wacky idea. Deanna did an amazing job making me beautiful and giving me the most fun hairstyle and Bette Davis eyes. Yesterday I had the pleasure of having a photo shoot with the one and only Jennifer McCready! Jennifer has an amazing talent, No gift. Jennifer captures the true spirit of a person when she is shooting. Yesterday was emotional, inspirational and so much more! I have attached some behind the scenes photos. Jennifer captured so much in this photo shoot as she brought a therapy that I wrote about in "Why I Run" to life.

An hour with Jennifer is equal to 10 therapy sessions. Now imagine 5 hours with her. Though exhausted from literally having too much fun, I left the studio feeling better than i have in over a decade and with more confidence which has since carried into my business and personal life. My Photo shoot was like a big bolt of energy jolting me into accepting myself, my flaws and my loves. Jennifer is pure magic. I highly reccomend this experience to anybody willing to listen. Gentlemen: If you're thinking of buying one of these sessions for your wife, do it. Just do it. My wife is not always the most confident in her appearance, and she was nearly as nervous as she was excited. Jennifer and her team didn't just do a shoot. They made her feel like a queen, look like a goddess and she couldn't stop talking about how much fun she had. And I've certainly been enjoying the photos since. What an amazing experience! The very first time I spoke with Jennifer when I called to ask questions and set up a meet and greet to go over the session, I could tell she was going to be fun to work with. She is creative and talented and she has a real drive to ensure your vision comes to life. If you don't have any idea what you'd like, she can totally assist! She takes the time to get to know things you like and incorporates them into a one of kind shoot just for you! Then comes the big day! Deanna does an incredible job with hair and makeup and really makes you look and feel as beautiful on the outside as Jennifer makes you feel from the inside! These ladies are such professionals. They are truly all about making people feel amazing and transferring that to your pictures so you can see for yourself how awesome you are! The positive vibe in the studio sets the tone and it is impossible to not enjoy yourself throughout the day. Who knew having your picture taken can be so much fun?! I have been spending the last few days trying to process my experience with Jennifer in order to write this review. Jennifer is an incredible woman with an incredible talent. I went in to this experience wanting to have some beautiful photos to represent myself and my journey thus far as I move forward with changing my body completely. Jennifer took my ideas and my loves and hobbies and created something so magnificent. I am a very body positive person, but not everyone can make you comfortable strutting around in a sports bra and spandex shorts at 380 pounds, Jennifer can. More than the photos that were taken, the day I spent with Jennifer & Brooke was so powerful. We explored life, society, body image, failures, successes, abuse and kindness as we chatted throughout the day... I am so thankful for the time we had together and it's safe to say that this was one of those formative moments in life that will help to develop who I am as I move forward in this world. I know that sounds like a lot of deeper meaning to a day of taking pictures, but I went into this experience thinking I'd get a couple of beautiful pictures but I left knowing that I am beautiful. That is a pretty cool thing.

I have known Jennifer through Facebook and her work for a few years thanks to a mutual friend my dream was to always do a photoshoot with her. I assumed it would be a retro, bombshell inspired get up but instead I approached her with my very first body of work and inquired about headshots and promotional material. She was quick to respond and we shared the exact same vision for both my look and the look of my work. Her communication is on point, she is quick and efficient and above all I have NEVER felt more comfortable than in front of her lens.
