Hiro-san our guide was superb. He had in-depth knowledge and shared many insights of Kyoto and Japanese History and Culture with us. We even went to a Kyoto Ramen restaurant for lunch and we ate like locals. He was patient whilst we shopped and took pictures. He even took pictures for us. He even bought us little gifts from each shrine, temple or castle. If you need a tour-guide, Hiro-san is THE guide, highly recommended, no regrets! More...

Booking a photo tour with Kyoto daily Tours was one of the best decisions of my visit to Japan! For a very reasonable price, I was able to book a half-day tour in an area of my choice in Kyoto with a knowledgable tour guide/photographer and digital copies of all of the photos taken during the tour.

Javier, my guide/photographer, met me in the lobby of my hotel to start off the tour, which was very convenient! We then took the bus together to our first location. I decided to explore the Philosopher’s Path in eastern Kyoto and Javier guided me along it and we visited Ginkakuji, Hoen-in and Nanzenji without feeling rushed. Javier took amazing photos along the way and captured the beauty of the fall foliage. Once the tour was complete, we parted ways and he promptly sent me an email within 24 hours of the tour with all of the photos. They were easy to download directly on my phone so I could start sharing them with family and friends immediately. Those photos were the best souvenirs of my trip and I will treasure them for years to come! Thank you Javier! More...
