When I was looking to refurbish my kitchen I went into the Kitchens International showroom and simply fell in love with the Stoneham display in the Dundas St studio. I felt it oozed style and I wanted a kitchen just like it. I so enjoyed working with Carol, the designer who had come highly recommended, as she completely understood what I wanted and designed the kitchen of my dreams. The choice of kitchens, appliances and the design service that I received from start to end from Carol and her KI colleagues was exceptional. It was a tricky build and the installation team were so accommodating and the aftercare is really thoughtful and reassuring too. We are so delighted with out Kitchens International kitchen. From the moment we walked into the KI showroom we felt the designer really understood what we were looking for and as an interior stylist I had many ideas and designs that I was keen on. Our designer worked with those ideas and then created a fantastic bespoke kitchen which works for entertaining and doing lots of cooking. We were looking for a minimalist, contemporary design that was sympathetic with the traditional features of the townhouse. We are delighted that it is bright with clean, modern features yet looks great in the room. We love the colours and the finishes and would highly recommend Kitchens International as they helped us "know what we didn't know" about what was possible with a modern contemporary kitchen. KI were indeed a joy to work with. There's little I can add to the glowing reviews below other than to say I concur. It was a monumental project, stripping the guts of a whole house and almost rebuilding one level from scratch. Prior to demolishions the designer (Stuart) had only a proposed plan to go on yet was able to produce a strikingly accurate set of images which clearly illustrated the huge structural changes we hadn't then embarked on. The KI team worked closely with the contractor so both knew exactly where the other was at any given time. The extent of the building work meant we hit a number of structural problems but KI were meticulous in their preparation so that when they arrived to install there were no nasty surprises. From concept to completion the job is extremely well managed, all members of their team who worked on the project were exceptional and the level of workmanship was faultless.

Our house is one of those unusual upside down houses where the large open plan living, kitchen and dining area are on the first floor. We headed to Kitchens International as we knew they had a good reputation for innovative designs and great workmanship. Louisa, our designer, was very good at listening to exactly what we wanted. We had casually mentioned how much we’d love a dining booth rather than having a standalone dining table and chairs but we didn’t think we’d have the space. Louisa took all this on board and the first designs were almost spot on with a beautiful L-shaped dining booth incorporated into the kitchen. It’s a relaxed and social space and every element of the design enhances this which is exactly what we wanted to achieve.

We are a large family and love entertaining and the kitchen has been cleverly designed to be just as comfortable whether it’s just the two of us or a bigger group. We would have no hesitation in recommending KI again to anyone who wants a kitchen that reflects their own personality. More...

We were recommended Kitchens International by a friend but initially thought they would be outside our price range as we were putting on a new extension to our house and had a set budget for the new kitchen. We decided to meet with Kieron their designer who immediately made us feel very relaxed as he discussed what space we had to work with, what style we were interested in and of course our budget. Within a short time he had put together a list of possibilities within budget and we knew then we wanted K.I. to install our kitchen. Kieron visited the site and came back with a design that we never thought was possible or affordable for us. From the moment the installation began until Mark and his team finished we could not fault a single thing. Gordon their installation manager would visit regularly to check progress and would pick up details to be changed or altered which we would not even have noticed but the Company ethos seems to be everything must be right to the finest detail. When we decided to re-configure our house and put in a large living kitchen at the rear I went to Kitchens International armed with a cutting of a design I liked. The KI designer was fantastic and taking my ideas and transforming them into a wonderful large kitchen where we spend the bulk of our time. I can cook to my heart’s content without feeling cut off from friends and family. Kitchens international were exceptional to deal with. The design process was followed through to the point where I knew what every millimetre of my new kitchen would look like. There was never a point where enough was enough retracing idea after idea until we were completely convinced and happy to be so! A vast amount of technical drawings were produced to assist both manufacturing and installation.
I am a builder and absolutely hate people working around and especially inside my property. I expected myself to be the annoying hovering client ever present and watching. Within half an hour of the team arriving to start, I knew this would not be necessary. Not due to any outstanding level of organisation but due to the foreman's sheer confidence in his own ability to handle our complex and challenging installation. We were involved where necessary throughout the whole project and were delighted with the end result, any oversights or problems were dealt with promptly where possible. Can't say enough!!! More...

We chose Kitchens International firstly on the professional manner of design layout and their ability to incorporate our own thoughts and ideas.
On installation their chief fitter was also highly professional and meticulous in his work while most able to communicate and liase with other contractors on site. The sales designer also kept up communications throughout the whole project which was very helpful. The kitchen was fitted within timescales and budget.
We would certainly not hesitate in recommending Kitchens international to anyone else. We were absolutely delighted with our new kitchen. More...
