This was my second visit to kitch. We were a group of 5 who wanted somewhere to celebrate the introduction of marriage equality to NI with a few drinks without breaking the bank. The BYOB option you have mondays to wednesday delivered this in a nice welcoming atmosphere where we could also hear each others conversation. We had a nice window seat giving us our own little section without feeling like we were forgotten about in a corner or out of the restaurants atmosphere. The food was exceptional, we had the 2 courses for £15 early bird menu which offered great value. The starters were very generous for this type of menu and you managed to surprise me with your haddock and chips. An obvious staple I thought I knew what to expect but it was way above average especially the nice hand cut chips.Staff were all lovely, got us what we needed and regularly checked in to see if we were ready for more of our drinks they were keeping in the fridge for us.Thanks for facilitating such an important and lovely occasion for us! Great menu. We had the Early Bird - everything was excellent. Compliments to the chef. Service was great too. I noticed an elderly English lady coming in alone - don't know what she said, but loved the way she was treated by the waiter. The food and the service here were phenomenal.  Both my brother and I had the shepherd's pie, and it was delicious. The owner was friendly and gave us all kinds of pointers on things to do that evening. This was our first trip to Belfast, and if we make it back we will definitely be going to Kitch Restaurant again. This was a very nice experience. We had a family dinner and from the moment we walked in were made to feel very welcome. Our waiter was prompt, efficient and very charming, a really nice guy. Service was swift, the food was really good and the menu has sufficient choices to suit a wide range of palates. I had honey chicken as a starter and it was just delicious, obviously freshly cooked, well spiced and just perfectly sticky! My main wash the shepherd's pie and again it was really good. This is a friendly and welcoming restaurant that specialises in preparing dishes sourced from local farmers. I had the shepherds pie and an eton mess and both were very tasty.

The owner was great to talk to and we explained how other customers were being served their food at the other restaurant we went to. The owner explained to us that in Belfast, a lot of the restaurants have a line of cooks that have to cook other orders of food if we ordered an appetizer and that it probably happened that way at the other place. I couldn't believe that the owner of Kitch was standing up for his competition and calming me down...he made my dinner more enjoyable and I ordered everything from the Honey Chili Chicken to the Burger to the Sticky Toffee Pudding! (I recommend all btw) Also, my wife's Haddock...amazing! I think I found my go-to place whenever in Belfast from now on... More...

The owner is amazing guy who open us to have delectable meals!! =) We had two straight days with delicious food! First day, we had an early bird for 3 course meals 18. 50 pounds- so much food!
