Nice staff. Not as clubby as many gay bars out there

Now reopened under new management. A really fun pub, dog friendly, great bar staff. Quiz nights on Wednesday, and games night on Sunday. Really nice atmosphere, and a covered smoking area. Good selection of drinks.

Great atmosphere. Really good play list. Tje food is out of this world. Definitely one of the best chef's in Brighton.

Fantastic Food, good vibe and excellent service. Had oysters, Ox cheek and the Pork. Faultless food, best in the area, very high standard and lovely venue. Highly recommend.

Great food and drinks. It could possibly be better value, but nice to have this choice in the area.

Kirsten did the re-branding for our restaurant and tied it in with the web site which she redesigned and built for us. The designs she did were fresh, bright and simple and reflected our company ethos perfectly.

Hugely disappointed. Having tried The Jolly Sportsman, expected the sam service and food level but it just wasn't.
The service was served with a forced smile. The food was good but I wanted more choice.
The decor needs an overhaul. Pee on the floor (they had just opened!) in mens bathroom, outside table rotting way, just generally dirty. Disappointing.

Kirsten Wass Q&A

Kirsten Wass Q&A

Describe your creative process.

From the initial brief I begin by mind mapping ideas. From my mind map I make connections and identify areas in which to base my research during which I gather information and put it all together on mood boards. Initial designs are taken from inspiration on the mood boards and sketched out and developed. At this point I will ask the client for their opinion to ascertain which design to move forward with to a completed design. On completion their will be an opportunity for revisions requested by the client if needed.

What information do you need from a client before you can start work?

This will differ from project to project but the more information the better as this will better inform our quote for the job.
Things to consider..
Background for the project including company information and competitors
The main objective of what you want to achieve
Who the target audience is
What look/feel/tone you want to achieve
Any Brand guidelines such as colours or fonts
What format is required for the final artwork
Number of revisions required

What do you love most about your job?

Variety, I like the fact that no two days are the same.

What inspired you to start your own business?

I choose to become freelance because of the flexibility and the freedom to work on the projects which interest me the most.

Why should our clients choose you?

I keep a tight ship, stick to deadlines and keep the client informed at every stage of the project.
