My daughter had a bad year with several maths teachers which affected her confidence. She felt she was falling behind and was worried she had gaps in her knowledge. After a term at kip, my daughters confidence was boosted and she was supported so well by the lovely staff. My 6 year old son has had 4 lessons here and has improved on his reading by going up two colours in a week and 2 weeks of 10 out of 10 in spellings. Reading and writing has been difficult for him hence his delay but even his teacher at school has recognised the huge improvement and praised kip McGrath for how they're moving my son forward at such speed. My son absolutely loves his lessons and teacher JJ and does not feel any pressure just fun exciting learning activities. Lessons are 1 hour 20mins long and very much enjoyed and well worth every penny. I would and have recommended this company to any parent wanting to give that extra support to a child needing a little boost in whatever area of Learning. More...

My son was struggling with maths and slipping further behind. His self esteem and confidence was so low whenever he had to tackle maths. 6 months on and after working with Tamsin, his attitude and confidence has rocketed. He is nearly at the level expected of his age but we will continue to work with Kip beyond this to build on his skills and most importantly his confidence. Dare I say he enjoys Maths? Maybe too soon for that �. Update: my son has now rocketed at his maths and has gone up 4 levels in 12 months. The staff at Kip have been excellent. A special mention though for Tamsin who has magically found a way to get the best out of my son and taught him confidence and some great approaches to tackling problems. We are now taking a break from lessons to see how he progresses without the extra support but I will have no second thoughts about coming back to Kip if we need extra help in the future. My son has received fantastic tuition. I have really noticed a difference. His confidence and work has dramatically improved. He loves coming to the sessions, he has so much fun! Activities are in manageable and bite sized which keep him on track. The tutors are incredibly supportive and provide good feedback.
