Well my 13 dogs stayed here for 2 weeks. And wow what can I say. Some of them have stayed in another kennels before on a different area and on picking them up seemed stressed and quiet. Lovely kennels and staff, my dog was well looked after when picked him up he had been bathed and his bedding freshly washed, defiantly use again thankyou for taking care of him

They have taken wonderful care of my babies while we went to the seaside. They treat them like their own and answer any questions you may have and have no problem with you ringing for an update while you're away. Olly and Chase can't wait to come again xxx More...

After using the same kennels for 9 years with my dog I was reluctant to change but since moving house it was just too far to travel. I looked around several kennels in the area but felt at ease when Heidi showed us the kennels. On dropping Logie off I found the staff member really friendly and the same when I picked him up a few days later. I have no hesitation in leaving my dog here again. We choose to kennel our trail hound Riley last week while we took a family holiday with just the kids (no furry one for first time in 6 yrs) can't recommend these guys enough riley has come home happy and healthy and some new manors at tea time. I would highly recommend these kennels to anyone thinking of boarding their pets , who live in the Newark and Sherwood area. Our dog and two cats always returned home , looking happy and well cared for and the cats were often reluctant to leave the beds in their pens ! That was really reassuring for us as it's such a big thing to entrust the care of your precious pets into someone else's care. Feel very sad that we have unfortunately had to relocate from Nottinghamshire to Shropshire and will miss this kennels and their wonderful staff tremendously, as will our pets! The new kennels in Telford, will have a lot to match up to! Thank you Kingstand Lodge for your wonderful care of Maisie , Ellie and Binx for the last 3 and a half years ! Put my dogs in here for two weeks whilst on honeymoon. 4 of them had never been in kennels, in fact had never been left by us with anyone else, and 3 others had only been in for one night a couple of years ago. Thought they might come home a bit skinny due to stress of us leaving them with strange people in a strange place, but this is so not the case. They came out happy, looked great and well cared for. Everyone here knows what to do and even my stressy dogs look really well. I'm so happy with the care they received and would recommend these kennels to anyone. They have all put on a bit of a fluffy coat whilst staying here so I'm not looking forward to them all moulting! I'm going to be living in a house of fluff! Thank you. Great place. More...

i have always trusted the staff to look after my jack Russell Lucy they great with her and although its been a while since she's been in there she's going to spend a couple of days and even now Lucy is looking through the window looking for Heidi to collect her says it all and she's not in there till tomorrow

We have used Kingstand for some years now and have been really happy with them. What impressed us was the fact that when we pulled up unannounced at closing time on a Sunday, we were made welcome & shown around. They listen to you & seem genuinely pleased to see the dogs!
